Getting skinnier and healthier with SW

Hello ladies,
thank god it's Friday hey! I'm in desperate need of a lie in in the morning!
Could be a very long day today. Had a very disturbed night from Chris being drunk, he feels poorly this morning bless him. And I must be the only person to get dressed today without opening any curtains in the house. Woops. Wearing a maxi dress and flip flops and it looks like it might piss it down. Lol. Luckily I had sense to grap a little white denim jacket as I flew out the door.

Food update from yesterday-
breakfast- berries, yoghurt
snack- alpen light
lunch- wrap with Cajun chicken, mango chilli sauce, cheese, lettuce, cucumber, tomato. This was to die for!! Berries
dinner- leftover veg chilli with rice and a bit of cheese
snack- muller light white choc (5 syns), salt and vinegar popcorn (2.5 syns)

i probably could have chosen better choices but had quite a lot of super frees, so generally happy

plan for today- probably red but maybe ee
breakfast- choc cereal (hex b), banana, vanilla yoghurt
lunch- subway salad (3 syns)
dinner- either fajitas in lettuce wraps, or "turkey/lamb donner" with bns chips and salad.

Was supposed to be going to a BBQ tomorrow, bit now it's a bit more of a night out instead. Good cos I can keep my syns low during the day and it won't be too bad when I drink on the evening. Got nothing to wear tho!! Seriously feel like I've got no clothes at the minute :-(

Hi ladies!

Hope your all having lovely weekends. I had a really lovely day yesterday. I was in with the hygienist at work. Most people just do her instruments and then sit around but I can sit around not doing anything, so I jumped in and wrote her notes, suctioned and cleaned for her. Kept me busy, she really appreciated the help and I learnt lots.
Shes such a lovely lady. She suggested with my qualifications I'm a bit wasted as a nurse. She suggested going back to uni to be a dentist, someone with the same qualifications as me went back and did dentistry. Pat thought it only took her a few years because of current experience.
Never even thought I could be a dentist because my alevel grades were only B's. but I've had a look and as long as you've got a degree in a relevant subject that can be used as your entry and it takes a year off the course. But still makes it another 4 years at uni.

And I'm quite gutted, when I looked a bit deeper and because it would be my second degree, you don't really get funding for it at all. Which would make it very very expensive. So I'm wondering if long term, if I mention it to my company while I'm qualified in my nursing, they might sponsor me through uni if I agree to work for the company for so many years afterwards.

For me it would be a dream come true to be a dentist. I love the patient side of things but I'm not really challenged in my current nursing role. I knew that when I took it on, but also knew I would get very bored of it eventually. I would be making my dad so proud to. Know that sounds sad, but that's important to me as my dads very into education, bettering yourself. Not in a pushy way, but I know he'd be proud that he helped me get there too.

Sorry know this isn't really of any interest to you but it's just something's that's really stuck in my mind now.

Food yesterday was ok...
B- banana, choc cereal (hex b), vanilla yofhurt
lunch- jacket potato, cheese (hex a), chicken (2 syns), salad
snack- cake (7 syns?)
dinner- wholemeal pitta (9 syns)- forgot I'd had hex b), turkey mince turned into donner, salad, bns chips, syn free minty dip.

Would have been on for syns if I'd have remembered I'd had cereal for breakfast, woops! 18 syns instead.

The BBQ from today is now pub food and lots of drinks, so I might be able to get lime and soda when I go to the bar to help with syns, or might stick to white wine spritzers with soda....

I don't seem to like my clothes ATM. I bought some orange trousers from topshop ages ago and didn't wear then cos I got too big. Been waiting ages to wear them, wore them because they fit the other day and they stretched as soon as I started to wear then so they look to big! Lol. Hoping the wash will shrink them back to size.

Sounds really exciting on the dentistry em! I love getting an idea in my head and getting stuck into research and exploring the possibilities of how to make it happen! Doesn't sound like there's any harm in asking work about sponsoring you to do it...shows loyalty and commitment on your side!

Sooooo.... I was super naughty this weekend, it's been a bit of a waste yet again!

So Friday night I was quite good, no snacking. I went to the pub with the boys and had diet coke.
Then it all went wrong - whoops!

During the day wasn't awful, I had some pasta late morning and then a chicken salad wrap while we were out shopping.
We were meant to be going out for dinner, so headed to our friends at about 7.30 for a predrink. Ended up staying and had 2 mini bottles of wine.

The people we were waiting for took an age, and by the time we headed out, it was gone 9, and we were in the bar area of Lincoln, so no where was serving food anymore. Ended up having a packet of crisps for dinner, as I continued to drink! So.... Here's what I drank
2 mini bottles wine
2 pints cider and blackcurrant
2 raspberry bellinis
1 pornstar cocktail- no idea what was in it, apart from champagne and yummyness!

i was mega drunk! Stopped drinking when I got into a bar and started dancing! Thank god, I felt awful Sunday. Had some cheesy chips on my way home but didn't help much!

Sunday woke up feeling rough and pretty much didn't stop eating all day. Started with a Chris made bacon sarnie in French stick, later had some leftover pasta, then polished it off with an Indian takeaway!
Felt so bloated going to bed!

So I was at work to start at 7 this morning, early start. Realised mid morning I just hadn't eaten breakfast. No idea what not, must have been half asleep. Very very hectic morning, as I was with a dentist who had been away for a week and a half. So finished at 1, went and picked up mylos food, then went food shopping. Boring. Starving by half 2, so had a packet of crisps (5 syns)

Had the most random use up lunch. Leftover pasta, bns and chicken.....
Now just chilling, catching up with the kardashians before the hubster gets home :)

really don't think the scales are going to be nice tomorrow! Need to stop drinking! Xx

So jumped on the scales rather anxiously this morning....
and I was back to 12st 12.2

sort of in 2 minds, glad that I didn't put on any weight but a little bit peeved that with a bit more effort I could have had a loss. Definitely think I need to start weighing out my cheese. I've got quite lazy with it and I'm sure I'm eating more than I should be.

Woke up feeling really rubbish. Very sluggish, felt glued to my bed. My tonsils are looking a bit like viral tonsillitis, I keep sneezing and my nose is running! Cannot be ill, seriously don't have time. Lol. Need to get back drinking my skanky tasting but obviously good vitamin drinks. Chris hates them because I'm busy in the mornings and I leave my glass around the house, he says the smell makes him feel sick.

Food plan-
breakfast- pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and yoghurt
lunch- maybe a mugshot or pasta and sauce little one, and extra veg and fruit
dinner- tikka chicken steaks, (1.5 syns), rice, and lots of extra veg

feeling that my immune system could do with a bit of a boost today. Hope everybody has a great day :) xxx
 
Hi ladies,
feeling incredibly exhausted tonight. My eyes are stinging already so don't think it will be long before I'm in bed. Worked this morning, went to the drs this afternoon, then actually motivated myself to get my fat ass to the gym!

Glad I went to the gym but it felt like a struggle today. Managed 50 minutes tho. Hope this helps with weightloss this week.
Food diary has been quite good. :)

breakfast- berries, yoghurt
lunch- pasta and sauce with mangetout, and broccoli, cheese (hex a)
dinner- tikka chicken steak (1.5 syns), boiled rice with onion, pepper, fresh tomatoes and courgette stirred through it. Mangetout, broccoli and babycorn on the side.

Havent had my hex b, not sure what ill have to be honest. But got leftover rice and veg for my lunch tomorrow so at least that's lunch planned.

Will update on if I eat anything else later.

Hi tash. The chicken steaks were really nice. I've been trying out premarinated meat from the supermarket lately, saves me a lot of time/mess, and usually they're not too bad in terms of syns.
I've had 2 afternoons off this week, and struggle to motivate myself to get to the gym when I get in on an eve, I have low vitamin b12, and waiting for my injections. So since I had an afternoon off and slightly more energy, thought it was more productive to force myself to go than to sleep. Lol.

Hi all you lovelies,

had a little evening snack last night. Had ww petit pain (hex b), Boursin (3.5 syns), ham, tomato. It was yummy and meant I finished on 5 syns which is a miracle for eating 4 times! Lol.

Feeling slightly better today :) tonsils still inflamed so keeping going with the fruit/veg. Hoping this will keep any bugs at bay.

Food diary for today- green
breakfast- strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pineapple and yoghurt (0.5 syns)
snack-banana
lunch- leftover vegetable rice with mangetout and babycorn, plus mint yoghurt, melon
dinner- quorn sausages and mash, gravy (will syn later), probably with veg for me, maybe beans or mushy peas for the boys.

Not sure at all where I'm going to fit my hex's in? Any suggestions? I was reading through my little box of healthy extra options last night and saw some kind of fruit stick snacks were b choices, as we're 'apple rings'. That's possibly worth exploring, as I quite like to have something sweet after dinner, and could use up my hex b's.

I'm hoping to be in with the implant team today at work, quite excited! :) I love all the interesting parts of dentistry, suctioning for fillings can get so boring. Hope everybody has a great hump day (he he- so childish)

Hi lovely ladies,
I was quite good yesterday until lunch and then plans changed for dinner, and rather than being good and coming up with a healthy alternative, we came up with kebab and sharing some chips! I'm ridiculous, ruining my hard work at the gym.
Anyway new day new start, and I'll be having yesterday's bangers and mash for tea. Lol.

Bit of an odd day at work today, but think will be interesting, I'm in with the minor oral surgery team, so maybe about 15+ extractions today, mostly difficult teeth or nervous PTs. But will be something new for me.

Food plan for today-
Breakfast- yoghurt, strawberries, pineapple, raspberries, blueberries
lunch- think I'm meeting my brother for lunch
dinner- quorn sausages and mash, gravy (syned), veg

not too bad a day if I'm a good girl. Feeling no better for eating all this fruit and veg. Went to bed early last night, fast asleep by 9 and after 9 hours sleep still exhausted so definitely think my body is fighting something.

Decides me and my friend Kaye from work are going to watch dispicable me 2 on Tuesday eve, can't wait! :) Kaye wets herself at all the videos, so think it will be a very funny night :)

Hi ladies,
only quick catch up as I walk to work from the car. Heading in early today because the dentist I usually work with is back today after 2 weeks and will want his surgery perfect. I didn't get chance to check yesterday because I was in that room with the oral surgery team.

Only lunch went a bit wrong yesterday. I was starving all day and had a coronation chicken (3 syns) brown baguette (hex b plus 3 syns) with salad in it and quavers (7 syns)
so I'd had 13 syns and had another 6 for my quorn sausages and gravy for dinner. Woops!

Got to work will try todo update for today at lunch xxx
