Getting skinnier and healthier with SW

Well done on the loss Emma!

Planning is the key for me as well. I try to take 5 minutes every night to make a plan for the next day's meals so that I'm not caught out. I have a little dig through the cupboard and fridge to see what I've got to put something together and if there's anything missing I can pick it up on my lunchbreak the following day.

I totally know what you mean about the camping trip, I'm not sure I'd be so keen either. It's a shame that Chris is keen to go though, it puts you in a bit of a position...

That's very frustrating about the blinds. Can't you leave the window slightly open with the blinds down? Would that not let a little breeze through but still keep the light out? x
 
Sleep at last :)

Yay! A decent nights sleep! :-D
took the duvet out of our bedding and just slept with the sheet bit, can't sleep without anything. So blind down most of the way, and windows wide with a sheet, means a happy Emma!

Work Is so hot at the minute!! Everybody is just sweating working in our rooms! There is no breeze at all as we're on a little courtyard. Can't wear skinny jeans ATM too and from work, made that mistake Monday, and I seriously couldn't get them on. Lol.

Got my lashes done last night again and eyebrows waxed, feeling much better :) had a chat with my sis, my nephew won to gold medals at an interschool sports thing, so proud of him. She sent me the cutest picture. Would put it on here but don't want people to get weird that I put a pic of kids on Internet.

Food plan for today-
breakfast- pear, clementine, alpen light
lunch- subway salad :)
dinner- homemade kebab- beef mince skewers, salad, dip almost syn free, and wholemeal pitta (hexb)

if I manage this as a red day I don't need to syn my alpen, and I could have a ryvita later as supper.

Apparently the hottest day of the year so far, so be careful girls! And I hope I don't melt into a puddle at work. Lol xxx

My work is sweltering as well so you're not alone if that's any consolation! My old office was always quite cool especially in the morning (I had to wear cardigans and jackets in the summer!!) but the new one is really warm all day so I may have to buy myself some new clothes..... :)

Loving the food planning, it sounds like you're right back on track with the plan. What about Chris? Is he still going for it as well or are you just leaving him to his own devices? x

Omg Bev it has been so hot again today it unreal. By mid afternoon today my head was literally dripping with sweat, didn't matter what I was doing. Crazy! Hope it's not that bad for u!!
Chris is eating roughly the same as me at dinner, but otherwise he doesn't seem that bothered, so leaving him to his own devices really. X

whata day! Sooo hot and work. Supposed to be going straight after work, with work mates for a baby shower for one of them, but no idea how I'm not going to look an absolute state?!
think everyone is eating, so going to have a look tonight at what I can eat that's not a salad. Lol.

so food from today.... Success express
Breakfast- pear, clementine
lunch- ham and turkey breast salad with honey mustard dressing (3 syns)
dinner- home made kebab with hex b pitta, salad, minced beef chunks, and a few chips. Dip (2 syns), halloumi
Desert- choc ice (5 syns), about 10g cereal

had a ton of fruit and veg today, so today has actually been success express :)

Got to go take mylo for a walk now, might try to whip up some pea and mint soup. Ging you've inspired me :)

another good nights sleep :)

food plan not really set out for today-
breakfast- berries and yoghurt
lunch- was going to be pea and mint soup, but realised I left it in the fridge at home.
Dinner- at the slug and lettuce

they do a tomato pasta at the slug, but I'll check if they can swap garlic bread for salad so I'm not tempted to eat it. If not might go for Cajun chicken salad. Was hoping they would do a jacket potato but looks like nothing of the kind.

Really looking forward to the weekend, my sis, kids and hopefully dog are coming up, hoping we can go for a picnic somewhere :) that would be so lovely!
Had a little jump on the scales this morning and my numbers are coming down nicely. Feeling quite determined at the minute, think its helped by the fact I'm not generally starving ATM during the day, the heat seems to be keeping my appetite at bay, while I'm sweating out my body weight. That's got to be helping, surely? Feel like I've been working out by the afternoon sweating at work. Sorry, I know it sounds rank but it's unbelievable, everyone is really suffering. In a different room today, and I'm hoping it will be slightly cooler. I can try to be optimistic. Lol.

Aw it sounds like you're really suffering with the heat, not good at all. We're still sweltering here too, I think it was 29c on the thermometer earlier :( I've acquired (stolen(!)) a fan from someone for today but they've ordered one for me so it'll be here when I get back on Monday thankfully.

TGIF!!

Hi all,
another warm day here! Already hot and it's not even 7.30! Wow!
Might get a thermometer out today because I'm starting to feel really rough from working in this, I'm not sure it's right. We have such an active job, I'm worried somebody is going to pass out! I drank 3 litres of water at work alone yesterday. I'm peeing like a racehorse. Ha ha.

Food yesterday wasn't exactly on plan, but I feel like I made good choices
breakfast- berries, yoghurt, alpen light
lunch- boots wholemeal wrap with chicken, pea and mint, pineapple
dinner- butternut squash, spinach and goats cheese lasagna from the slug and lettuce. I swapped the garlic bread it came with for salad, cutting down the syns. Wasn't much pasta in it.
Snack- supernoodles with a laughing cow triangle stirred in

Chris and my brother picked me up after dinner and we food shopping. Not exactly what I wanted to do, but we had nothing in. My brother made them both some pasta for dinner. Nice to have someone around who will cook.
£140 later and we've got a full fridge again. Lol.

So plan for today
breakast- strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, pineapple
lunch- not sure, but got pineapple and a doughnut peach too.
Dinner- got some mince, was going to do spaghetti bolognese but wonder if the boys would prefer a chilli? I can sneak more veges into a chilli. Lol.

Supposed to be going to meta fit tonight to try it. But my whole body is exhausted, completely aching and I've got a banging head. Walked into a cupboard door at full speed yesterday, just didn't notice it :-( lol. I'm so bloody clumsy!

Chris scared mylo this morning and he actually let out a little doggy scream! It was so cute! Then he just stared at Chris invade he did it again bless him.

Well anyway, thank god it's Friday!

Hi all, I'm awake stupidly early for a Saturday so thought I would lay in bed in the piece and quiet and post.

im so glad it's Saturday and I get a break from the heat at work, it's stifling. I'm trying to drink as much as I can but don't think I'm replacing my salts as my leg started cramping while I was in the middle of doing a filling yesterday. Lol.

Got my sister and 2 out of 3 kids coming up today and no dog :-( I was well looking forward to seeing the dog! Not even met him yet, but he's only a tiny pup so think it will be hard to keep him quiet in the car for an hour.
Think I'm going to take them to a place near here called hartsholme park. There's a big lake, lots of grass, a little play park, hoping the kids will love it.

No idea what to take for the picnic tho.... Got lots in, will just need to do some cooking this morning. :)

So food yesterday-
Breakfast- berries, pineapple, yoghurt
snack- alpen light (3 syns)
lunch- salad box from local takeaway lunch place, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, sweet corn, plain couscous, roasted veg (1syn- didn't seem oily tho). Didn't eat much of that, couscous made it dry. Pineapple and doughnut peach.
dinner-spaghetti bolognese. Bit of bread (hex b) garlic bread (3 syns)
sauce was onion, garlic, mushroom, courgette, tomato purée, chopped tomatoes, pasata- squeezed an extra few veges in there :)
pudding- warmed banana with chopped up freddo melted into it (5 syns)

so 12 syns, but I had a yummy Friday night treat so I'm happy.

Food plan for today
breakfast- fruit, yoghurt
lunch- picnic- ww baguette with quorn turkey and salad roll, salad, ryvita with cheese spread and tomato. Strawberries, peach? Yoghurt, maybe some pasta, maybe a timeout, or crisps. Don't want to feel like I'm missing out.
Dinner- not sure, maybe just some pea soup or some leftover spaghetti bolognese. Depends how much I eat at lunch

Going to take my beautiful puppy for a long walk this morning, then he should be a bit more calm in his excitement when the kids get here.

Naughty sat night again!

So I was naughty last night with my food!!

Food diary from yesterday-
breakfast- fruit and yoghurt
snack- leftover bolognese, peach
lunch- jacket potato with chilli and cheese
snack- alpen light and yoghurt
dinner- chips, curry sauce, 2 slices brown bread, freddo

So god knows how many syns I had yesterday, I felt like I ate all day, but like small amounts. The weather wasn't so sunny yesterday so my sister suggested going for a pub lunch. I was good and ordered a jacket potato with chilli and a bit of cheese but I hardly ate any chilli or cheese. I hate baked beans and seriously didn't expect them in my chilli. Luckily the potato was closed so I managed to eat most of the potato while I very carefully picked out the million baked beans that they managed to put in this small amount of chilli.

Had a lovely time with my sis and the kids, was so great seeing them. They both jumped out of the car and ran upto me and gave me the biggest hug, it was awesome! They're hard work but I know I'll love it when we decided were ready for our little ones!

My sister in law has decided that rather than camping they might come to us for bank holiday. That would be awesome to spend some good time with them, thought we could organise a few bits like going to see the castle and cathedral. Ian, my brother in law is really into that sort of thing so hopefully ican arrange some stuff.

my brother was supposed to come at 8am as he was staying with my cousin to continue drinking, but no sign of him yet.... Not texting him tho, don't want to start like his mother. Lol.i don't think he's been looking for a job as hard as he could be, but think hell have a wake up call soon when the bills start coming in.

Not sure what ill be eating today so I'll do a catch up later xxx
 
Sleepy Sunday... Literally

Hi all,
ive had quite a lovely and relaxing Sunday :)
made us all a bit of a fry up for breakfast, but I had fruit too.

Took mylo for a lovely walk on some hills near us. Unfortunately he must have rolled in poo, he bloody stinks!!
came back and the boys were still watching cricket so thought I'd go upstairs to watch tv.
Ended up watching a random film with channing Tatum in, the film was crap really. Fell asleep before the end. And there was no sexy body out, he looked a bit fat for him really.
So spent most of the afternoon asleep. Lol.

Now just got to iron my uniform and I think I'll get myself a sweet treat and head off to shower and bed. I start work at 7 am tomorrow, so will be leaving the house around 6.15, so even though I've napped, going to try to have a chilled night.

So food diary from today-
breakfast- fry up- ovened syn free potato squares, 3 slices fat off bacon, mushrooms, plum tomatoes.
Bowl of berries, melon and pineapple
lunch- leftover spaghetti bolognese with a bit of cheese (hex a)
dinner- grilled garlic and herb chicken salad, with a few chips (3 syns)

Just realised a haven't had a hex b, so my pudding will be choc cereal (hex b), banana and white choc muller light (5 syns)

think I'm going to have a red day tomorrow:
b- fruit, yoghurt, alpen light if I need it.
L- coronation chicken salad ( 2 syns)
d- fajita chicken with salad, butternut squash chips (1.5 syns)

not included any hex a and most of hex b, so a bit of flexibility...

Got some vouchers for prezzos that need using up by end of the month, so going to see if a friend of ours is free maybe Friday night to go. Think me and Chris are going to try to go to Alton towers on Saturday. Might be going to a pub quiz Tuesday night, and my nan is up at my uncles for a couple of nights, so will probably go see her on Wednesday night, so looks like this week is pretty busy!

Will try my best to be on plan. I am actually looking forward to weigh in on Tuesday, it's nice to be like this again :)

Just another manic Monday..... La la la....

Hi all, been a bit of an odd day really. Been up since 5.15am, and I'm now shattered. Was a bit restless, think I was worrying I wouldn't wake as it was my first 7am start.

Got to work, 20 mins early, had to sit outside. Lol.
Bit of a slow day at work, a couple of PTs then big gaps. Snooze fest. Met my brother after work and took him to print off jobs at the job centre, popped to aldi for some fruit, filled the car with petrol.
Came home and had some lunch.
Took mylo out for a long walk at a local park, he got some swimming in. He definitely a water pup bless him, he loves it. Might try to find a paddling pool when I get paid :) hell love it!

Planned to go to the gym but with doing stuff with my brother and having to walk mylo cos my brother hasn't done it, I just didn't have time before dinner. I'd have to wait an hour still now if I wanted to go, and I'm shattered. Not happening tonight....

so food today-
breakfast- berries, melon, pineapple, yoghurt,
snack- alpen light (1/2 hex b) and rice cake (1.5 syn)
lunch- coronation chicken salad (2 syns for mango chutney), ww mini baguette (hex b)
dinner- butternut squash chips, chicken fajitas (1.5 syns)- peppers, onion, mange tout, babycorn, light philli (1/2 hex a), cheese (2/3 hex a), wrap (5 syns)
Desert- freddo (5 syns)

so I ate all 15 syns for today, but I'm not bothered. I don't like it when I waste all my syns on one thing, and I don't feel like that's what I did today.

Plan for tomorrow- extra easy
breakfast- fruit, yoghurt
lunch- wholemeal roll with coronation chicken, bag of crisps (5 syns), fruit
dinner- leftover fajita with rice and extra veg.

The boys have fish to eat and I don't eat fish so I'll have leftovers :) nice easy tea for me.
Weigh in in the morning, and hoping to be in the 12's. I've decided I'd like to be at least 12st 6lb by the last weekend in August. From what I remember, that's the weight that puts me in overweight and not obese, which would be a lovely milestone.
The last weekend in August were going down to my mums, it's our American football draft, so seeing lots of people I won't have seen in a while and I really hope that I feel skinny and I can feel the difference. That would be amazing.

Think in going to have to head to bed soon so I'll catch up tomorrow after weigh in! Xxxx
 
Yay!! Happy weigh day! Official weight this morning was 12st12.2, meaning I've lost 3.6 lbs this week :) happy bunny! I don't even care about the weather today!!! :)
my friend text me last night and because I bought her lunch last week, she wants to buy me lunch today, so will try to veer us towards something sw friendly. I don't expect I'll want to venture far with the rain tho.
Loving that Kate and wills have had their baby boy, looking forward to finding out what they've named him. Hope they don't steal my name of George. Lol

supposed to heading to a quiz night tonight, but doesn't start til 8, so shall see how we all feel when I get home later. Chris looked exhausted when I just left. Either way I won't be drinking! Really want to get out of the obese range!!

Yesterday-
breakfast- fruit and yoghurt
lunch- jacket potato, cheese and salad (3 syns for margarine)
snack- caramel snack a jack (2.5 syns)
dinner- leftover fajita mix, rice and broccoli (3 syns) for extra philli
Snack- cherries, freddo (5 syns)

so I ate 13.5 syns yesterday, think I need to reign that in a bit for a few days then it's there at the weekend if I need it.
My Achilles is killing me at the minute, it's a long standing injury, but tends to flare up when I'm doing too much on my feet. Got to just hope I can get through the day high as a kite at work. 1 tramadol doesn't seem to have cut it this morning. :-(

anyway planned a red day today-

snack- alpen light, peach
lunch- 3 onion ryvita (hex b), 2 emental laughing cow (2/3 hex a), peach, apple
