Well, I'm still not feeling right. I think I'm just a bit washed out right now, so I'm continuing to take it easy. I'm determined to stay on plan over the weekend and who knows I might even fight those negative talking demons on monday and survive till tuesday (with a loss).

I really want to get to my stone loss for the weigh in before christmas, I joined SW Jan 11 and I know I shouldnt compare losses to anyone else, but I'd really love to have lost a stone over the year. I'm keeping the mental image of me being seatbelted in and so far its really helping!

Not sure what foods are to be had this weekend yet. No body magic as such as I'm still not 100%, but I really want to get tidy in the house so this is some minor body magic for the weekend.

Saturdays food:
B- egg and beans on small wholemeal (HB)
sn-banana
D- jacket, mixed bean and quorn chilli, 28g cheese (HA)
sn- 2 pears
T- pasta with h/m basil, garlic and tomato sauce with 84g mozzarella (HA HB)
pud- curly wurly (6 syns)
pud2- vlf fromage frais with options hot choc (2syns) x 2 (so another 2syns). light squirty cream (1syn)
sn-1 quality street fudge (1.5syns)
Total=12.5syns

I know I should be aiming for 10syns a day, but I'm so chuffed with being under 15 every single day this week :bliss:

You should be chuffed - you're doing great there in your wagon! Sorry you've been feeling so poorly, it's the season for all these horrible things now so I hope you're feeling better very soon. Hope you get the loss you deserve after all your efforts this week x

Thanks Beegee! I'm hoping that I've had my dose of illness for the winter season now ;)

Here's todays food:
B-ready brek and raspberries (HA HB) followed by vlf fromage frais, 6g hot choc (1syn) and raspberries
D-oven baked risotto with onion, roast peppers, stock, cheese (HA), 50ml wine (2syns), 1/2 Tbsp oil (1/2HB)
T- curry from sainsburys -probably channa massala (cant quite remember the syns, I think its 4syns for the whole tub, will check)
pud-possibly something, either fruit, yog or fromage frais.

Still no body magic, unless sleeping is now considered a sport ;)

Actually I say no body magic but I've managed a 15min dog walk each day :)

I've had a lovely tea and altogether I've had 25 syns today. I've made bread and weighed out some to try (90g), pretty high in syns really but I wanted to try it. I also had 10g of a lindt chocolate bar. Anyway, I'll update my diary when I've got a chance.

Good luck for weigh in. Have not been online recently as my mum passed away suddenly 9 days ago so not thinking about anything but getting through each day . Sorry to hijack your thread with my sad news but didn't want you to think i had disappeared.

T

Oh Teresa, I'm so sorry to hear of your sad sad news about your mum. I dont know what to say, I hope you have lovely people around you for support. My thoughts are with you and your family, ((( please take care )))

Sorry to hear your news derbynanny - look after yourself at this horrible time. Thinking of you x

I don't know why Gobolino, but everytime I read Ready Brek, I really fancy it! It's totally years since I've had it, isn't it like oatso simple - a kind of fine porridge? Must get some for the winter months! I don't suppose the chocolate one counts as a hexb too does it? (wishful thinking ...?)

Another question - oven baked risotto sounds yum, do you roast the veg first or just shove it all in a dish together with the rice and stock. That would be lovely for a change, may have a crack at it tomorrow.

Good luck tonight at WI x

I lost 3lb :)

Beegee Ready brek is similar to oatso simple I think (only marginally cheaper as it doesnt come pre-weighed!). Also, yes the chocolate one is a HB :) :)

For the baked risotto I used canned red peppers (not in oil!) but the recipe has frozen roasted peppers. This was the recipe I used and it was gorgeous:

Oven-baked red pepper risotto recipe - Recipes - BBC Good Food

I made it on the weekend when we were both ill though so I used the tinned peppers (which were lush) and just grated cheddar on top. Beautiful and so easy. White wine works out about 2syns for 50ml but you could use all stock instead. Enjoy.

Tuesdays menu:

B-ready brek and grapenuts (HB) with vlf fromage frais and natural yog. Blueberries and raspberries

D-Bombay potatoes and rice. Apple, peach

Snacks- clementines, banana x2, rice pudding (HA+3syns), milk in tea (HA)

T- vlf fromage frais, 3 syns worth of highlights white hot choc and 2 tbsp squirty cream (2syns)

lunchtime walk :)

only had 5 syns

Weds

B-raspberries, vlf fromage frais, yog, ready brek (HB)

D- innocent veg pot (think this one is 8.5 ouch). Fruit salad

sn-milk in tea (HA), apple, 1/2 a melon, 1 clementine

T1- egg on toast with cheese (HA HB), followed by raspberries. Starving when I came home and knew I wouldnt last till my evening meal tonight!

T2- out with friends much later at wetherspoons will either have a superfood salad without dressing (2.5syns) or jacket and veggie chilli (1.5syns) not sure yet.

pud- wine (6syns per 175ml glass, I cant drink much so hopefully syns will be minimal!)

The plan is to enjoy our night with friends we havent seen for ages and make up for it the rest of the week, not to extremely low synnage though :)

Edit for weds - I had 2.5x 175ml wine (15syns), jacket and 5bean chilli and salad (1.5syns)...... when we arrived home 5 syns of vlf fromage frais/options/squirty cream.
