Gobolino's Food Diary - converted to ww now!

Yikes, that sounds grim - hope it went ok x

Thanks Beegee - it went surprisingly well so I'm not so scared for next time :)

Silly sausage, I'm not doing so well on the challenge, its made me realise that I dont eat as much s and ss as I thought! Although I am excelling in the water department :)

Ready brek pancake is a britmum recipe (search slimming eats pancake for her recipe). I use 28g ready brek, 1/4tsp baking powder, 1/4tsp bicarbonate, 1 tbsp sweetner -mix together and add to 1/2cup of yog and 1 or 2 eggs. Use fry light in a pan and split into about 4, few mins on each side. I think they are more pancakey depending on what you put with them to be honest. I say one or two eggs as I found 2 to be too eggy but I'm not sure they were so great with 1! Also the first few I made were without the bicarb and I think I prefer them without to be honest. Have a go and let me know if you like them :)

Here's todays food.... its not going too great to be fair. I'm desperate to get outside, walk to shop and buy chocolate or a flapjack :(
Friday 11th November

Breakfast:
Grapes, orange, grapefruit, apple. 2x HiFis (HB HB)
Milk in tea (HA)

Dinner:
Cauliflower cheese soup (HA) with rice. Carrots

Tea:
Jacket and ???

HiFi 6syns

Struggling to get on to minimins for help lately. Here's how today panned out - better than expected with a slight change to what we'd planned for tea and avoiding a trip to buy munchies and having hot chocolate instead, I managed to stick with the plan :)

B- orange, pineapple, pink grapefruit, grapes, apple, HiFi (6syns)

D-cauliflower soup (HA), carrots. Hot chocolate (3syns)

T- Jacket potato with bean and quorn chilli with 20g cheese (1/2HA & 1syn)

Snacks- grapes, banana, apple, milk in tea (1/2 HA), HiFi bar x 2 (HB HB)

10 syns :) (I'm sure I havent forgotten anything)

Well done on avoiding the munchies shop and having a 100% day!

Thanks for the recipe for the pancakes. I am not a fan of the fakey sugar as it makes me feel odd :( It is in stuff I eat and drink, but I try not to add it to stuff. Maybe I could try pancakes one day with sugar or honey when I am feeling generous with my syns. Wont be today as I was a rascal yesterday!

Keep up the good work with the water and speedies :D

Thanks for your support sausage! To be honest with the sweetner, its just as good to leave it out and use vanilla sugar, maple syrup or honey on top instead :)

I've crumbled completely the last couple of days (not so bad over the weekend though)..... its stressful in work and I've turned to comfort food. I've been walking to M&S and buying stuff to eat and it has to stop. I've thought up a challenge for myself to continue with the 30mins M&S walk but stop the buying. I'll put money away for each time I do the walk and not the buying..... then save it up for somethin in particular (not sure what just yet!).

Going to class tonight and not really looking forward to it. I'll hopefully glean some inspiration, motivation and support :)

Gained 4 this week -ouch :wave_cry:

Whats changing this week?

* M&S challenge
* packing a lunch bag for two people (ie that about of food would mean there is no need to go out hunting for more food)
* I fancy getting up earlier to do some just dance (not sure if this one is really doable, I'm up at 6ish anyway, but we'll see)
* I have to do it this week, I'm so gutted and fed up of being rubbish at this, its time to turn it around.
* No idea of what I want to aim for syn wise, just to be within syns all day everyday would be fab

Here's to next week!

You are so fantastic at looking where you can improve. Acknowledging what needs to change and then putting plans in place.

You will get that 4 pound off in no time !

I will join you with the getting up early to excercise. Since I started my new job and with my SW group I have got out of the habit of regular exercise and need to make it a habit again and the only way i can fit it in is at 6 am so on thursday I will start a 6 am run or shred !

Hey Gobolino! Just checking up on you to see how your week is going. It sounds as though you've got your plan sorted, I hope it's going ok for you. Don't be so hard on yourself btw, you know how well you've been doing and you know you can turn it around. You'll do it when you're good and ready. Does it count if you go to M&S but buy very low syn stuff - that could be as much of an achievement as not buying anything at all and may still considered to be a bit treaty if you need it emotionally? I think some of their low cal / fat range is low synnage - I can always check some on the syn calculator if it would help. Good luck hun x

Hello :) thanks for looking in on me! I've had a very busy weekend visiting family and then out with family. I packed lots of bananas and apples to help, but its very difficult when you stay at peoples houses etc. Plus we arrived home late last night, with family and had a curry :) Very yummy.

I'd had a totally on plan day (even with getting up at 430 to take people to airport) and then had tea, came on here and have eaten 2 boxes of oaty bars :cry::cry:

Rubbish! I'm feeling a bit numb about it all, I think I'm tired.

I have a plan though, I'm going to extend my M&S challenge and reward myself at every opportunity. I really dont spend money on myself but by doing this I feel I'm giving myself something to aim for and treat myself with.

Weigh in tomorrow, not looking forward to it at all, but I'll go and fingers crossed the early part of my week will have counted for something (fingers crossed !).

So rewards will be for:

A day on plan (ie not over 15syns) £££
An exercise class ££
A lunch time walk ££

Go for it :) The way I see it is that it reinforces positive self esteem that way too (well sort of!).

I lost 1.5lb this week. This could just be down to wearing different clothes ?!?! I still have lots to shift after the last few weeks gains -grrrrrr.

Other news:
:D I'm definitely aboard the SW wagon this week and beyond. I've even done my seatbelt up!
:D I have officially divorced cereal bars. I am going to be doing much better on my own, thank you very much!
:D Stress at work does not need to be dealt with with chocolate - FACT!

New Start

Wednesday 23rd November - Green

Melon, weetabix (HB), milk (HA)

Egg fried rice with peas onion peppers and tomato, followed by kiwis

SW chips, beans and green beans, followed by vlf fromage frais with white choc options

Thanks Beegee! Fingers crossed I'm back on the wagon now, although why am I saying that, I'm seatbelted in so there's no way I can fall off is there! :)
