How lovely beverly75 :).. Well my scales have bloody broken.. So I haven't been able to weigh myself the last week and a half.. My new ones are supposed to be here today. Well done to everyone who has been on track.. Come on peeps who are struggling (I am too) :(

It works for my Grandchildren too (well - with me anyway lol) but sadly I don't have the same cute factor as the littles ;-)

I've semi solved the feeling cold problem without recourse to calories though ( Yay! ) ... I've adopted a hot water bottle in a furry cover which is now coming everywhere with me :D
 
Oh the cold is making such a difference for me too! My cravings have gone through the roof. I'm relying on highlights hot chocolate to make these better at the moment. :)

Ah. Is it deeply unsexy that I'm swathed in thermals under my clothes from head to toe? lol
 
Ahhhh ... not just me with the cold then? I tried oven baked butternut squash last night Safia ... wonderfully 'rib stickingly' kind of stodgy comfort food but superfree :D I'm really not looking forward to months of feeling like this though :( I'm also considering thermals Beverley!

Ooo the oven baked squash sounds yumm, must try that x

Its weigh in day for me tomorrow and with having 2 days last week where i went over my syns i hope i atleast get away with a sts or even a small loss x
 
I just baked it whole in it's skin, like a jacket potato, on 180 degrees for about an hour. Then sliced it open, scooped out the seeds and served. Not only is it yummy but it saves all that really hard peeling and slicing that butternut squash normally needs :D

I need to start losing more than 2lbs a week or I wont manage this! My eating is totally on plan so maybe I need to start exercising more! Need to do something!

 
A steady 2lb loss is good though Rosegold :) ... I personally don't exercise apart from walking to work (which is 5 minutes away so not exactly a marathon lol), and I'm not going to start because I know from past experience that I won't sustain it which will make it harder for me long term.

I find that starchy carbs slow down my losses ... I know that they are technically 'free' on SW but if I have more than one (weighed) portion of them a day then I really know about it! I don't weigh anything else (apart from Hexs) but I do portion control the starches.
