Had cooked the lamb shanks on Tuesday so that any residual fat could be removed after it had been in the fridge overnight, and to let the flavour develop. OH announced that he has a work dinner tonight, and I didn’t want to re-freeze the lamb, and couldn’t use for tomorrows dinner, as we have a guest, and only two shanks.
Blummin lovely though – he really missed out!
