Well for the first time ever I decided to flexi syn on a night out, set myself a limit of 50 including my food for the day.. If I've worked it out correctly I had 51.5!

Feeling quite pleased about that, had I not done so many jägerbombs I would have been well under and also I'd still be asleep as the Redbull is keeping me wide awake!

Had a really good night, no other girls turned up so just me and the boys, no *****iness just a good laugh, unfortunately I couldn't stay out as long as I wanted but they didn't go home until about 2.30, I was in the mood for a late one too, so annoying! X

Glad you had a good time, always the way the nights I have the most fun are the ones I have to be away early from because of work next day... Typical... Well done on the flexing of your Syns, it can work, as I think it helps you keep track a bit more throughout the week... xx

Wow Helen you are such a party girl! I am usual done by 1am!!! I am glad you had a good night out. I love my girlfriends but there is something great about being surrounded by a group of boy friends - blokes have such a wicked sense of humour that I appreciate - toilet humour!!

Have a lovely weekend and well done for sticking to your 50 syn limit too, no mean feat wheb you are out.

I am currently sitting at the cinema (again) waiting to see Hope Springs, the large salted bucket of popcorn is sitting beside me, I lose to the bad food again!!! I promise to be good for the test d the week!!!

X

Sounds like quite a night Helen
I love being out with the boys .... I guess mainly because all my work
colleagues are male, I tend to relate to guys better

I'd never done it before but it was good.. Might have been a bit of a fluke as had I stayed longer then I would have drunk more!

I had Saturday off work too but if I hadn't left then I wouldn't have been able to get back to my parents and the people whose houses I normally crash out at weren't there, that's the problem with living so far away from where you work all the social do's are a nightmare to get to x

Ha ha I was in bed by 1am it was the guys who stayed out later as they had no problems getting home! It was definitely no mean feat sticking to the 50 syns but as I said to Lisa above I think it was a fluke!

I agree with the guys and their sense of humour and they said although they don't always like girls being there they don't mind me as I'm not "precious" and just join in with the laughs and don't mind them chatting girls up!

I quite fancy Hope Springs, what was it like? Did you go with hubby and what did he think as not sure Mark would be too keen on it x

Snap I work with mainly guys but more girls are slipping in and you can tell as the atmosphere is completely different! X

What a weekend! Went to my cousins Saturday evening and we went out for a meal and then back to theirs to carry on drinking, I had two bottles of wine and haven't drunk wine for so long that I felt very merry and my head was pounding yesterday morning! To top it off I had to go to work last night and didn't get home until nearly 2am so that'll teach me to drink on a school night!

We had a result with the bill at the restaurant though, in the summer we went to a steak house and was disappointed that 4 people out of 8's steaks weren't cooked correctly and although they knocked 10% off the bill at the time Mark decided to email the guy just to let him know that he wouldn't expect it from a steak restaurant, he doesn't usually complain but it was so worth it, the manager was so apologetic, he wasn't there that evening and he said he wanted to make it up to us and would we come again and he would take £50 off the bill, when the bill came it was £31.50 and they had taken £130 off!! We asked him to come over and said that it was so generous are we sure it's correct? He said he was pleased that we had approached him and the way Mark had handled it without flying off the handle made him want to treat us and he'd like it if we just let people know what we had a nice meal, all he charged us for was the 2 bottles of wine which he asked if we didn't mind paying for!

So we had a gorgeous meal, steak cooked to perfection and we gave £50 as wanted to tip them so £25 a couple.

Yesterday bacon butties served in white bread was the order or the day and I had a couple of choccie biscuits to try and kill the hangover and wanted chocolate (didn't work!) the rest of the day was to plan though.

Today back on it and try and pull it back for a loss.. Fingers x'd! X

Helen that was brilliant service and well done to that manager

I know a friend ( via FB ) that is currently embroiled in a heated debate
with a Harvester who took 35 minutes to seat a party of 8 then got everyone's order wrong
and to top it off some of the meals arrived before half the starters had been delivered so
people were expected to eat mains before starters when they complained the manager turned
his back on them and trotted off

Appalling ...

That's terrible! And they put them in a management position because??!

Have to say the service he gave more than made up for it and I'd definitely recommend now x

Morning Helen... I hope you have a good Tuesday and I will pop by again later...xx

Cheers Chelle, nice sunny day today x

Had Doctors appointment yesterday to sort out medication, back on anti inflammatories rather than tramadol to try and get to the root of the problem rather than just mask it.

Also being sent for blood tests today.. Not sure why but I'm sure that's what they seem to do these days! Something about immune system x

Finally! I suppose I've been lapse as thought I'd get better and a year later it's not happening so pushing a bit now, not sure what they're testing for though!

Problem is although I'm not scared of blood tests I get so nauseous half way through that I think I'm going to faint and takes hours to feel better, not sure if its because they can never find a vein x

Make sure you drink some water before the test. If you're dehydrated they can't find veins.

I was feint on one if my (many) tests and drinking really does help.

Hope they sort it all out anyway x

I always drink loads before as been told that in the past but they just seem to take so long trying to find a vein.. Must be all the blubber covering them! X

Been a busy girly the last few days, saw physio at work Wednesday for the first time and she was assessing me so been in lots of pain since, no doubt due to the prodding and poking but got new daily exercises to do. After seeing her I kept getting really sharp stabbing pains in my pelvis like someone was sticking a knife in, not sure if it was something she pressed on or if it was TOTM related but was fine when I woke up the next day.

Thursday after my early shift I went up to Covent Garden for dinner and drinks with some girls I used to work with in the terminal, had a really lovely night but then had to get up 3.30 yesterday morning for work which wasn't so good!

Crashed when I got home yesterday afternoon and then last night we just snuggled up together on sofa catching up with Waterloo Road, Hunted (love it) and Plane Crash (maybe its not a good idea to sit in First/Club when I travel!).

Feel like I keep going out lately and SW is only happening inbetween, I just enjoy having a few drinks with people. My social life is all or nothing and at the moment it is "all"! Supposed to be going to a poker night tonight.. Not that I know how to play poker! Was thinking that if I didn't go I'd be able to stick to plan but then I'd just be sat in on my own as Mark's a Late shift, decisions decisions..

Go! Life is for living not sitting in! Yes you want to be good, but life comes first, do SW when you can but not at the expense of no life... You are busy atm, but, maybe in a couple of weeks you will have a clear calendar... You can be saintly then... Hugs... Chelle xx

I don't think saintly is in my vocabulary! X

My SW head has gone well and truly out the window.. I feel I have a devil on my shoulder telling me to eat anything and everything naughty in sight, like a whole packet of biscuits! At least I had to then tell Mark what I'd done as when he went to get some there weren't any left!

I need you all to be my angels on my shoulder and tell me why I want to do this, how much better I feel when to plan, how much better my skin is etc etc.

Whenever I have a goal it seems to go wrong as since I announced I was going away I haven't stopped going out! I am ignoring all goals and just trying to think about each day.

I haven't had a 100% day for so long as when I lost 2lb having been naughty I thought oh good I can be really naughty.. Doesn't work like that!!

I'm going for a 100% day today, have had breakfast, in the middle of making dinner and will cook a nice lunch before going to work.

Please if I haven't listed my food later chase me up for it, I don't feel I have my willpower back yet but I just want to get through today and once I've done a day it might be easier (I hope!) x
