Helen's quest for good health!

Lisa,
Do you think it is either less fat or less gluten/wheat, I think, a combination of both.

I'm not sure. I don't have UBS I have Crohns which has similar symptoms (it's an IBD). I think less bread is key - I hardly ever have it as my HEB as prefer cereal or crispbreads. Oh and cheese too I don't have that too often as have my milk. I have pasta occasionally. I've been very lucky with my Crohns really but it has definitely improved with SW food.

Perhaps cos it's so healthy by nature.

My undiagnosed ibs (awaiting results) has been 90x better since starting sw, they only time i struggle is to much bread, cheese, chocolate (poor me lol) or greasy food!xx

Was typing the same time as you! Def bread and cheese are my triggers for a flare up. And greasy food too - which you don't have on SW (if you're on plan)!

When's your next appt Emma?

Thanks girls, I hadn't thought about cheese, I usually blame a flare up on having fat, like when eating out, or including too much gluten in my diet, because hubby has been coeliac since 2003, and thus as I cook for both of us, normally eat gluten free.

Oh yeah forgot about too much fruit! What a lot we are lol xx

I'm not too bad with most fruit. Can't have too many berries or citrus.

I'm sure I've posted on an IBS thread before. Let me know if you find it.

Dinner time for me :-D

Yes home now and got the munchies, was under syns so had some mini breaks. Must remember to take some water in tomorrow as water machine is broken and I'm gasping for a drink.

Felt really happy as 2 people noticed today I've lost weight (even though I gained so much over Christmas!), the first said I was shrinking before his eyes and the second said my uniform was hanging off me and I need a new one.. Coming from 2 blokes I was really chuffed x

Fantastic news on the compliments! Don't go to bad with the munching speak to you tomorrow xx

Loving the compliments :)

It has much more impact when others notice as I don't think that we notice it ourselves! :)
