Helen's quest for good health!

Well there not splitting up but they are moving! It's a shame as we all used to be friends.

Had a busy couple of days, had work quiz night/BBQ last night which was great fun and really funny, my lovely Dad picked me up and let me stay there so I could have a few drinky poos.

Today my mum and I went to Garston's Farm, I think you've been there Kally haven't you? I've not been before and really loved it, want to go back and do "Pick Your Own", was lovely seeing my parents, we don't see each other often enough what with shift work and living 70 miles away but now I've seen them Sunday, Monday & today!

Had a lovely BBQ with Mark this evening and now just chilling as back at work tomorrow.

Meals planned for next few days as really need to get back on track, so far off the rails recently hey ho! X
 
You'll get back on track, its more important to enjoy time with your family without watching everything you eat when you don't see them enough... That's why I go off the rails when Charlie comes home...xx
 
Great that your noisy neighbours are moving!

BBQ sounds good. At least the rain stayed away :)

I love Garsons....glad to hear you enjoyed it ....Friday and Saturday

The problem is the grass isn't always greener.. No idea who we'll get next! I've always got on with my neighbours where ever I've lived so it's quite upsetting x

As I just said to Lisa, the next ones could be worse! They're generally not too bad just really noisy.. Or we're particularly quiet! Sometimes we turn off the tv and listen to them.... Nosy neighbours that we are! X

I was going to report what a wonderful, healthy day I've had.. But I blew it! Had lots of fruit, had a salad for lunch and started cooking SW hunters chicken and SW wedges so all was going well until I decided I was peckish for some reason so had crackers and cream cheese, but not just a couple, I completely binged and ate loads followed by some chocolate rice cakes... Why oh why? I felt sick I ate so much.

Decided instead of alcoholics anonymous this is binge eaters anonymous as I don't usually admit to things like this.This is a biggy for me, admitting this, this is what I'm hoping the Slimpods will sort but I'm going to start from Day 1 again as although I have been listening for a while I stopped writing down the positives and as Jackie said I need to do that for them to work.

My heads not in it at the moment, feel fat, frumpy, unattractive, my feet are in a state, hips hurting... Shoot me now!

Need to sort it, am going to start doing positives straight away, will book myself in for a pedicure which I don't usually do, give myself a facial to try and make myself feel better, in fact I might have a bath and do that tonight, take some painkillers as try not to take them and try and get a good nights sleep.. Hopefully I'll wake up more positive.

So here's my positives for today, please don't laugh as I'm not very good at coming up with them:

1) work are taking myself and a few others out for a meal to say thank you for having a shadow for the last month
2) ate lots of fruit today and enjoyed it
3) cooked a SW meal and as above.. I enjoyed it!

I'm not sure if there's a method in my madness but I thought if I post here in the morning then maybe I'll be less likely to go off plan later in the day.. Will it work?! X

Well I went and got weight, 1lb on, not good but better than it could have been.

Told a lady there and also my friend that I was considering leaving, they were so supportive and told me I'd regret it when I put all the weight back on and also my friend said to think how much it would cost me to have to buy all new clothes again now I'm wearing my own clothes at work.. Think that's what I needed to hear, that and looking at a before photo and thinking I don't want to be there again!

I'm going to try my best to stick to plan this week, not going to weigh and measure everything as going to try and make sure I "listen" to my pods rather than not listening to what my mind is saying, they worked so well at the beginning.

So today, from now on I am back on track.. Well trying to be but will need help from you wonderful people x
 
huggles Helen :hug99: the journey isn't easy but the pods can only help my lovely if you listen :D

You must find the positives as its a huge part of it, so I shall try to remember to check on here EVERY day and check you are doing them ;)

Did you set your goals?

All this is a big part of podding. It comes naturally eventually at first I know how hard it is to find positives but they are there and by finding them you are reinforcing that little change was a good one :D xxxxxxx

Jackie you don't have to check on me as I know you're a busy lady and have lots of threads to visit but thank you for your continued support.

As I said in the PM I need to "listen" to what my minds saying rather than listening to the pods but ignoring my sub conscious.

I have started doing my positives as of yesterday but they're in my book but will write them here too later.

I did set some goals but I haven't been imagining them so that's probably why I'm not aiming for them. I know this isn't about weight loss but body changing however I have a short term goal of losing 3lb, doesn't sound much but I want to get back to under 15 stone and also my 2 1/2stone loss, looking back I've really struggled since my holiday and that massive gain so need to get under control.

You are so right it's hard to find positives.. My mind goes blank!
