My lady is really strict, like when we do the group part where she's goes round she really grills us and presses us over upcoming obstacles and how are we planning on dealing with it. What could we do better, I always feel like I've just been questioned by the police! ...I've just re read that and it doesn't sound that bad but her whole tone is really severe!

Saying that the one I went to before wasn't the nicest of areas and was full of old ladies that kept talking about rude stuff and vile people off Jeremy Kyle. I'll take my current one! X

Ha ha I'd love to go to your old group just the once for the laugh.

Yeah I hate that part of group I'd rather we exchanged tips or recipes or asked questions, it's very cliquey at my group, same ones with the same problems every week. I've told my friend about it, she knew exactly who I was talking about, says they're there since the class started 3yrs ago when she went and they're no nearer target.
 
Well at least they are still going each week to keep up the pretense, theres a lady at work who tells her husband she goes every week but goes to a friends house instead!!ar

And I literally cringe when I think about the old group. Honestly its not nice to hear toothless old women talking about being on top helped them lose that lb!!

I've just realised I haven't tried to tweak stuff about me at all. If anyone reads this and knows who I am..don't say anything!!!

That sounds awful! Not ever joined a club before. Maybe that approach works for some but me personally I have always been bigger than I should be and carry my own insecurities without paying someone to bring them all to the surface and making me feel shame when I don't follow the rules to the letter! Now where's my damn soapbox :mad:

The two at my group are the pay lady and the weigh-in lady so have no choice but to go.

So as I was saying.. They probably would have buggered off if they weren't being paid for it then?!

Yeah I thought they can make a 'career' out...just been googling and you can make £30-50+ a group, but looks like there is a massive start up fee, plus advertising and rent on the space so depends on how hard u work for how much u earn. and you have to pay some of it to SW.

So no I wouldnt say theres a lot to be made!!!

Yeah the consultants are self emplyed and pay franchise fee to SW, my auntie was doing it, she quit once she recoupped her investment in it, said it was hardwork, the promo, keeping numbers etc. I didn't realise they paid the weigh-in person & cashier.

Regardless it still comes down to your hard earned cash! You're paying for a service and you deserve to come away from that group feeling positive and re-energised if it has been a bad week for you :eek: SOAP BOX please Issy! Xxx

That's such a lovely idea, I might put £2 in a pot for every lb I loose. I'm not sure what my target is though so that may go a bit wrong.
 
Thanks Issy last one of the night promise! Xx :D I would like to wear knee high boots :) can never get the zip to go to the top so frustrating xx once I can do that I know I have reached my target xx

I love boots, have a lovely pair hidden in the back of the wardrobe would soooooo love to fit them again. So saving sounds like a good plan;)
