Help needed for 1st day......

I picked up some of the salt and vinegar ones to try - hope they are as nice as the others!! :)

Yeah it's a great cause. They saved his life although he was still pretty badly injured and nearly lost his leg. Treatments ok so far but he still can't walk or put any weight on it so he still might have to lose his leg below the knee. But at the mo he is having lots of therapy and physio so fingers crossed! It costs £1500 for them to save someone with their helicopter so we set a target for the two of us (my sister and me) of £500. We will def hit that at the rate we are going :) I think it will be hard work but fun - and hopefully a clear day so we can take lots of photos!

I guess I'm worried about the syns because I know Friday is off plan with the party so I don't want to have another day off as well. I'm going so I can see what it's like but it won't be a regular thing for me. Although I guess I could just order off the normal menu instead of the curry one?!

Just found out today that all this time I have been having jacket potato instead of chips on steak night and wetherspoons deep fry the potatoes and then freeze them and cook to order!! That may explain some of the STS I had before. Darn it and I thought I was making a smart choice!!! Just shows you how wrong you can be - no more steak night for me!!

I haven't been out since I've been 100% on plan so I hope it's worth it lol. We are going away next week and I'm going to try not to go too mad. Ill prob have SW friendly breakfast and lunch but relax a little for dinners and have a few drinks with my meal. Ill be cooking for part of the holiday anyway so can make SW friendly dinners as well for some of it. We have 2 nights in a hotel and then 3 nights in a caravan.

The worst temptation will be snacks as we won't go out every night - we are gonna take some board games and the Xbox so we can watch DVDs as well :) but bf will want crisps and junk so ill have to exercise good will power not to give in.

What's on the cards for tomorrow for you?!

i think it's great what you's are doing - you's should be really proud of yourselves!

as for the night out and time away...try not to stress too much - if you put too much pressure on yourself it might have the opposite effect then if you do go off plan, you'll spend the time beating yourself up....so just take every day as it comes and make the most of the time away with your fella ;)

today's ee for me, got cous cous again for lunch and have ham/seafood sticks through it with some super free...hopefully i'll not be as hungry today hehe.

took pork chops out for dinner so will have them tonight but not sure what with.

i'm tired today...hopefully the day goes quick cos i just cannot be ar$ed lol x

On a wetherspoons thread on here somebody has spoken to wetherspoons HQ and its a myth about the deep frying so panic over! There will probably be some oil used though which will need synning x

you enjoy yourself then....i made pork chop, sw chips, onions, mushrooms and grilled tomato and it was bloody deeeeeelicious!

Well the curry was ok - you could tell it wasn't dripping in fat which was nice. By the time I had got there they had ordered me a medium glass of wine. I hadn't planned to drink but thought I deserved it so had it anyway. And I ate the naan (ooooops!!)

So all in all last night I had 24.5 syns. Looking back over the week I was under syns by 16 so now that will be a buffer of 6.5 for tonight. Not ideal but I'm sure I can restrict myself from having a blow out and binge. It's an extra glass of wine at any rate :)

I was so tired when I got home at 11ish I just crashed out. Bf was meant to do the lunches but didn't so I had to do that this morning. I'm on a red day (forcibly as we didn't have anything ready made for my lunch) so I have cereal, fruit, ham and lettuce sandwich, yoghurt, carrot sticks and hummus and more fruit.

It doesn't leave me with a lot of choice for tonight as I have no idea what the food will be like. Anything I have with cheese on can be counted as part hexa.

Ill just have a free day and go with the flow tonight. I hopped on the scales this morning and still showing a gain of 1lb. Do you think if I had two really good days over the weekend that would make have an impact?! Or success express?!

What's the plan for you today?!
 
plan for today is green for me...
i'm off today but had a thing on at the school and i'm only just back. i got ready and had some fruit and yog cos i knew i'd be starving if i didn't....i'm hungry now anyway and that was me having something! lol.
sitting with some juice just now whilst i wait on a boiled egg and linda mc sausage cooking then i'm off to tackle the ironing before school's finish at 12.30.

i'm sure you can pull it back but mid week WI can't really show an accurate weight...can they?? i've heard of success express but never done it...surely if you fill up on superfree it will balance out??
i don't have scales in the house cos i know, doing this now, i'd never be off them! some people weigh themselves every day and it can't be a real reflection..surely???

i think you more than deserved the wine ;) and if you look at your syns across the week then you're fine too :D

what time will you get away from work today? x
 
Hi kmisskx sorry not been online for months but i didnt get on well with my diet even though i was keen - life got in the way and too much stress but ive decided to start again but go back to ww which i know well and can do better- I hope !!!. Mornin all!! Phew what a busy weekend!! Sorry I haven't been on since Friday!! I worked Saturday all day and was busy running round like a headless chicken yesterday.

I had a really hard time sticking to plan on Friday as I had the worst day at work ever! Plus there was chocolate fudge birthday cake floating around. I'm proud to say I did manage to stick to it until my planned night off (party was brilliant and food not too unhealthy - the wine was though lol)

Then the inevitable hangover got me on Saturday and I was just eating everything in sight! I did work about 11 hours again and dont think i could have made it through without! must be more prepared next time so i dont go off track. Pulled it back on plan yesterday but still ended up with a 2lb gain this morning.

Not gonna let it bother me as I'm off on hols as of tomorrow and I know ill be gaining over the next week. When I get back ill be doing a big SW shop to get back on plan straight away. I'm going to have a week of red and green. Last week when i lost 5lb I did mainly green for the first time. This last week has been all EE and I think red and green are better for me to lose.

I see you tried a red day missk. How did you find it?! How has your weekend been?!

but glad you had a nice time on fri and WELL DONE on avoiding the fudge cake! lol

yes i did a red day...yesterday...and survived lol.

i wasn't up until later so had fruit salad and a roll on bacon for brunch, snacked on a boiled egg an had roast chicken dinner with veg and 115g of baking pot (which i made mini roasties from) as 1/2 my 2nd B choice and it was fine...was surprised at how much potato i got.

for the 2nd half of the B choice, i weighed out 15g of mini ryvitas (have you tried them yet?) and had those with a packet of space raiders for 3 syns and a packet of Revels....good god they were yummy! lol.

was gonna do another one today but i know that when i'm making my quiche etc today, i'd end up having a wee bite here or there so just gonna do EE...but i'd def do red again - on my days off though until i think of different soups/snacks to take to work cos obviously what i take just now has to be green/ee days.

to be honest, i've had a sh1t weekend. spent sat night/early hrs of sunday morning arguing with my OH and woke feeling hellish due to lack of sleep.... and we've not spoken a word since really.
he's off today (unfortunately) so not sure how that's gonna go...it's 8.15 and i have my pasta and rice cooking so that i can just get started when i've done the school run...might go straight to asda once i've dropped off cos i didn't go yesterday so that'll give me some time out the house then it's WI tonight.

aaah the joys eh!

i think you're right not to stress too much about the gain...you know that you were off plan a bit so it's kinda justified...and as you say, you're away soon so can have a great time, chill, spend time with your OH then come back raring to go (or that's the plan anyway lol)

better shoot the now, i have 15 mins to get everything sorted, throw on some clothes then leave....will be back on later though :D x
 
Hello!! Hope you are having a good week!! I've been totally off plan food wise as expected but did have an hours walk yesterday in my new walking boots!

The holiday has been lovely so far - the hotel has been so posh (jacuzzi in the bath and everything!!) :) I've put a couple of pics below!

Lovely and sunny so far as well but we are on to our second destination once I can get lazy bones out of bed!!

Hello :)

I'm back now and feeling very bunged up after lots more carbs than usual! I didn't go too mad but drank more than usual and obv wasn't having meals on plan. Although there was not a binge in sight.

I'm going to get the new magazine today and do some meal planning for the week ahead. I think lots of red days will help clear me out (sorry TMI lol)

How have you been getting on?

things here are ok...nothing new to report other than my bloody computer has packed in so i'm not sure when i'm gonna get a chance to be on until i sort something and doing it on my phone's a nightmare!

WI for me tonight..not sure what to expect as i've had 5.5lbs off in the last 2 weeks but have felt "heavy" over the weekend so although i've been on track 100%....will need to just see what happens!

so how was your time away then?
i'm sure you'll be right once you get back on to plan properly and bump your superfree....and i've done 2 red days now...YAY! go me lol

are you back to work now then? x
 
Oohhhh check you out with the red days. :) I'm planning on mostly red this week but might throw in EE over the weekend because I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and my sisters bday on Sunday. My step mum is doing a roast so it won't be SW friendly :(

Holiday was lovely. We were really lucky with the weather and it was sunny the whole week. It was warm enough to sit outside with a cheeky cider but not sunbathing weather. But I have come home relaxed and freckley from the sun :)

We did loads of cheesy seaside stuff like horse riding on the beach and playing bingo lol. Even won a toy in the arcades :)

Back to work weds so got a lovely day of washing ahead of me tomorrow :(

glad yo're back feeling relaxed...shame about the washing tho lol. but at least you got a day or 2 to recover before it's back to normality eh ;) x
 
Yep. And it gives me a day to get back into the swing of SW :) gonna get the new mag tomorrow.

Red day tomorrow with egg and bacon for brekkie, soup for lunch and beef stew for dinner :)

well i stayed the same at WI tonight...can't complain really...well..course i could...i was on plan so where's the loss!??? lol but no really, it is what it is and i've had decent losses the last 2 weeks so as long as i keep doing what i have been...what'll be will be eh!

made chicken "fried" rice for dinner tonight and had it with a few spoonfuls of the mayflower curry sauce...was yummy! x
