Help needed for 1st day......

Ahh monthlies are the worst!! Feel for you hun as i know you suffer. Get yourself tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle and some pain killers.

My eyes feel so much better after only using the new stuff once so I won't look too zombie like in the morning. Throat much better too but the morning will be the test!

Bf has annoyed me today. When I woke him up to take me down the hospital he was like 'cant you get a later appt!!' No a**hole I can't because its an emergency appt and I'm really ill!! He apologised later using the 'I'm rubbish with mornings' excuse and now he is saying he won't give me a massage on my (now muchly aching) legs even though he said he would earlier. He said 'do I have to?'

I never ask for anything like this from him and I'm really annoyed that he has shown minimal support for me doing this climb from the beginning - he didn't even say good luck or anything yesterday and I didn't speak to him til I got back at about 9 last night!! Would just have been nice to have some TLC. He can be so selfish at times. He prob thinks he can just be like 'oh sorry babe but I was really tired etc' and that ill just brush it under the carpet but I'm really annoyed - more the principle than the actual massage.
 
totally get your point on this one mrs...men...they're another fekin species i'll tell you!!!

i've not been feeling the love towards mine over the weekend but haven't said to much as it'll just cause a row....they really are a pain in the ar$e at times...as are we...but that's allowed he he!

glad to hear you're on the mend and fingers crossed you make it out of bed tomorrow morning without needing some assistance due to stiff legs pmsl.

going to head to bed soon...i had a hot water bottle earlier and although i felt naff, it wasn't half as bad as i can be sometimes so that's a bonus...although i hope i haven't tempted fate now!
wasn't too hungry at dinner time then used my HEb's up on things i wouldn't usually and now i'm like aww man...why...i'm hungry and could well do with a wee something! - always the way eh! x
 
Ahh that's Sod's law isn't it?! Hope you managed to find something to snack on.

I am pleased to report that my legs aren't too bad this morning. I didn't need help getting out of bed (just as well because my bf prob wouldn't have helped!!!) but I did put some more muscle rub on before I got dressed just in case.

I think the reason I'm not too bad is that I was putting hot water bottles under my blanket while I was dozing on the sofa yesterday under my legs. Seems to have worked a treat. I know a lot of the other people who did it were aching a lot yesterday so hopefully they are better today.

I meant to say...my sister managed to get a few people to sponsor her double if she lost half a stone before the climb and she did it!! She was reasonably good with her food as well while we were away so in chuffed for her!!

How you getting on?! I see you are trying more red days.

and great news that your sister thought of that plan...so not only raised extra but lost weight too!

getting on ok here, been trying to mix up my HE's a wee bit...well, the B's anyway and it's been nice for a change. had a few days last week where i was hungry but not sure what to have then eating but not enough to fill mem right up which resulted in me wanting any old junk...glad to say i stayed firmly on plan but it might've been hormonal??

yep, done the odd red day each week but never anything too exciting...just no potatoes/pasta really and i find it's better for me to do one on a weekend seeing as my snacky things are pre made and only suitable for a green/EE day.
found a recipe for sweetcorn soup last night and i might give it a go today instead of making the usual lentil which i'm getting a bit fed up of. i only take some to work to have the odd mouthful if i'm hungry between breaks and most days i bring some home but will give this a bash at some point i think.

was gonna do another red day today but seeing as i'll be making my quiche etc...there's no way i would make them and NOT have a bite of this or that as i'm cutting it up so it's gonna have to be a green/EE day today lol.

keep meaning to ask..how are those people from your work getting on with their weight loss? think you mentioned someone was on atkins...are they seeing results? x
 
Hello hun! I'm def on the mend - feel back to normal now but going to finish my tablets just in case lol.

Hotel is a bit pants and dinners are in the pub next door but they did treat us last night to a very posh dinner in a Michelin recommended restaurant (oooh errrr!!) it was lovely grub and free wine a night. I had quail for starter, sea bass for main and sorbet for pudding (so not at all unhealthy really although prob cooked in oil etc - and obv the wine was naughty lol)

Bf has been moaning about weight so we will be strictly on SW once I'm back. I'm spending the weekend meal planning and feel quite positive about it :)

How you getting on missy?!

About his weight lol - I think I would likely lunch him if he was moaning about mine lol. Last night he said we really need to stop eating in the evenings after dinner - which is a habit we always go back to when we manage to stop. He is totally right - we don't eat cuz we are hungry...more because we are bored and sitting in front of the tv!

In only had a small dinner in the pub last night and realised that if I was at home I would have just had something regular sized and eaten it anyway even if I wasn't hungry out of habit some need to start thinking about whether I am hungry or eating for the sake of it
 
its hard not to get into a habit tho....
i tend to have my goodies when i'm settled at night...but its after dinner and the only goodies i have the whole day so kinda like supper - to be honest, i'm usually hungry by the time we settle down with them and it's my favourite time of the day lol.

i made a lovely soup this week instead of the usual lentil, i made sweetcorn - only free on green and EE.
it was really easy, a large potato peeled and cubed, an onion, a large tin of sweetcorn, 1.5 pints of chicken stock and that's it. simmer for 20-30 mins and blitz!
i really like it...nice for a change but next time i'd miss out the seasoning as this one's quite salty but other than that, i'd def make it again.

need to find a nice soup to make that i can use on a red day cos i've yet to do one the days i'm working!

done a fair wee bit of walking this week...feeling it on my legs today so let's see if it makes a difference at WI next monday! ;) x
 
My spicy BNS soup is lovely and free on red! It's super easy to make as well! Otherwise you could try carrot and coriander or pea and mint?! Or even just chuck in loads of mixed veg.

I'm back on soups as soon as I get back. I'm having a major fat day today and really raring to get some weight off!!
 
nothing worse than feeling uncomfy...but it's good when you physically feel the difference and know that getting back on plan makes you feel so much better.

i'm not keen on carrot and coriander and last time i prepared a BNS...i almost lost my fingers pmsl...found a recipe for spicy tomato and red pepper so that might be a winner?

Tomato and pepper sounds good. (Tip for BNS is to slit the side three times and bung it in the microwave for a couple of mins before trying to cut/peel it. Works a treat!)

I'm back Friday evening and going food shopping Saturday or Sunday once I've planned meals etc. going to do a mix of red and EE I think to try and boost losses. Also going to do the 30 day shred every other day and up my water intake. That should get a good first loss!! :)

I'm trying to use the uncomfy feeling to boost myself forward rather then fretting about it and worrying. But my clothes were really uncomfy today. How you doing on the clothes front now??

yep, use it as an incentive...we just know and we can feel when we need to fix things for ourselves eh.

clothes wise....getting by...just lol. got a few newish things that fit so i'm wearing the life out of them and hoping i don't see the same people too often lol. haven't really been wearing any of my older stuff cos they're so big but always on the look out for this or that ;) x
 
Right.....I'm all shopped up and ready to go tomorrow. All my lunch etc is ready and I have even packed a small 'dinner' because I know im working late and I don't want to be tempted on my first day back.

I wrote a really long post to you yesterday and just noticed it didn't work grrr.

Yep I was all prepared yesterday and managed 2l of water which I'm pleased with. I did have sweets when I got home though after a hellish journey - I had done overtime until 8:30 and didn't eat home til about 11! Stupid trains!!

So I ended up over on syns by about 11 (oops) but I'm gonna limit my syns over the next few days to make up for it.

Did you have a goo day? How did WI go?
 
man that's a hellish trip home by the sounds of it!!!

WI was a lb off for me this week and saw me getting my 2 stone shiny :D
food's been ok as always...nothing exciting to report although today i had rice pudding with yog and fruit instead of my usual magic porridge at work which was a nice change cos i was able to have a sandwich for lunch which is usually unheard of on an EE day lol.

grrr to the long post not working...bloody hate when that happens!

Today I'm doing ok actually.

Had a cereal bar for breakfast (B), soup and ryvita (B) for lunch with fruit, yoghurt (3 syns) crisps (10 syns as I had 6 Pringles and my usual. Prob a silly idea but oh well!!) so I'm on 13 syns so far.

I've only had one cup of tea for hexa so I'm tempted to syn that and use both hexa on my dinner with cheese. I'm planning a stuffed baked potato and veg. I'm going to cook the potato in then oven, scoop out the inside and mix it with spring onion, mushroom, courgette, peppers and some paprika and then fill the skins and top with cheese :)

What you got for dinner? Im trying out green days when I'm not eating with my bf and ill do EE or red with him. That should help mix things up a bit!!

Well done on the loss hun :) and for getting the shiny!! You have done so well!!

Me and my friend have started a challenge to drink 2 litres of water per day - you can imagine what it's doing to my bladder!! Lol
 
lol...you'll be up all night at the loo!

i like doing that with baked potatoes...haven't since i've started sw actually but i used to mix the potato with cottage cheese and whatever then roast them again...mmmmm must put that on the menu!

been rushing about all day and only just got dinner on now - having warm chicken and bacon salad with sw roasties.

gonna do green tomorrow and was planning on making the mac and cheese but the freezer was too full so have taken a quiche out for my OH so not sure what i will have. got some meat free burgers from morrisons last week for half a syn each and they were actually quite good so maybe that...not sure yet.

got the rest of the rice pudding and fruit for breakfast tm and 3 wm crackerbreads which is only half a B choice and gonna take a mugshot so it leaves me 1.5 HEb's to use tomorrow on stuff other than breakfast/lunch for a change :D

didn't make any soup this week which is a first...wasn't sure how hungry i'd be at work with not having my oats in the morning or that to sip on thru the day but i survived...probably cos i was busy too mind you! lol x

aww how annoying! wonder what's wrong.

i'm absolutely unconscious this morning....feel like i've missed out sleep and ready to tackle the day after a nightshift or something...eugh! i hope it's a quick day !
