Just a thought - but why not ring them up and ask them - or, hopefully you will ask your GP when you see them this morning.
Sorry - when you said you weren't looking forward to the test and asked if anyone had had it or knew anything about it I kinda assumed you were worried about it. As you aren't having the test today and they are simply arranging it perhaps you can discuss the packs with them, take some with you, and ask if there is any real reason for you not to continue as you are (as that, for you now, IS normal eating)? I firmly believe that if you ask the right questions you often find out that there are a variety of ways to solving a single problem. Hope they let you stick to it once you explain how important your weight loss is to them.
I've had the glucose test a few times and each time I've been instructed to fast - same for bloods, I guess it all depends on the individual and what they are looking at
Sorry to hear about Aaron having to take time off school, let's hope that as your weight vanishes (and boy it will!
) this won't need to happen any more. I don't say that as a criticism, I know you need him, just as a positive goal
Try not to feel bad about it.
If you do find this happens a lot though you might like to ask your GP to arrange a care package for you in the meantime (I'm sure Aaron's school will support any request you might make) - I think someone alluded to the same thing a couple of months ago - but I can't remember who it was.. I'm sure they will wave ! lol
Hope it went well at the docs and well done on getting through these first 3 days! (I found them the toughest!) I bet you've already lost half a stone!
