How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Thanks hun, it has changed a hit because we've been invited for lunch at mum and dads... But that is at half one and Nate is just having a nap now. He has improved but isn't better if that makes sense. He is pretty wiped out but he woke less often last night, he has just managed 3oz of milk but at church he didn't eat his cake or his cow biscuit. He did have 2 slices of jam toast and some of my breakfast though.

Got made to come to the front to be introduced and went BRIGHT RED. I suck at public speaking. Everyone is nice. One girl was hilarious. She seemed baffled by the idea that I didn't go to church, as though such an idea was both new and made as much sense as saying the sun is blue! I managed to dress ok though. the sun was out so white summer dress I got Rom the charity shop the other month, yellow cardigan, yellow handbag and green shoes. A few others were in sundresses, done were dressed nice, others weren't. Some of the girls were in tiny hot pants! We'd have never been allowed in Halifax church dressed like that. Anyway, Nate and I popped upstairs mid worship and just played with a bunch of toys and some other kids. Nate got really jealous at one point, so funny. It seemed to all go ok and now I know what I'm writing the rota for. First day tomorrow followed by le BBQ. I avoided cake by giving it to Nate. Score.

Well I don't like eating public food... You dunno who has touched it. Blurgh. I've always been like it. Had roast beef for dinner. 2.5 syns for pudding half for milk in my tea, so 4 for the day and I have my heb and hea to use :)

Nate slept for 3 hours! And when we were at mum's he laid in the dog bed as a sign he wanted to go to bed. We get home, he has a bath and he wants to play.

When I make supper later I will do Nate a pack up for nana's and i might put together some fruit for tomorrow and do a potato salad. I forgot to ask if they wanted me to bring anything. I figure I will make it, leave it at mum's and pick it up afterwards.

Walking here there and everywhere will hopefully have helped this week's weightloss. It has been a bit of a struggle to stay on track, which isn't like me. Oh well, just tomorrow and Tuesday to get through. I might do a new menu for next week tonight. I might do a risotto tomorrow I have some asparagus and tenderstem broccoli in the fridge that would be nice in it. Aiming to spend very little on food on Wednesday given the state of my bank account!

Good luck for your first day, Fran xxx

Aww thanks guys :)

It went really well. Off to the vicars for tea/coffee and a meeting. then setting up the BBQ stuff and fetching my flowers for carol (leaving admin who has been helping me) and then eating lots, chatting lots and sitting in the sun. Lovely! Good day other than a bit of sunburn and too much cake. Hehe. I did only have a wee bit. There was SOO much. I figure adding in all the walking this week and having a good week it should be ok. I saved my heb and had a wholemeal roll there, lovely big pollock BBQed, salads and stuff. My potato salad went down well :) got a tiny bit left so I'm going to have it with salad, pickles and a cheese omelette for tea in a bit. So first proper working day will be tomorrow. Nate didn't miss me AT ALL and I got to sort out CSA and benefits before mum and dad got back with Nate. :)

Haha, it is a fish. the vicar caught it. hehe. and the potatoes and spring onions for my potato salad were grown in uplyme too :) There was SOO much food. and I solved the problem of needing more glasses by remembering there were a few boxes of them in my new office. boom! I have been told there isn't a BBQ every week though (boo). I got quite excited when I found out the trainee vicar's husband is doing research in philosophy, but I didn't manage to grab him at any point. (my degree is culture, politics and philosophy). The woman at the post office said I looked really slim today so here's hoping I have finally got some good news on the scales come Wednesday! Off to make my tea now!

Glad it went good for you :) x

Morning Fran. Good luck with WI today xxxx fingers crossed for a good loss

Thank you :) lost 2.5lbs. So all the weight I have put on is gone and I am back to my lowest. I have one more WI before going to Halifax, where I will put lots back on. Birthday tea at brother's girlfriend's parents' house, buffet party at the pub, wee party at my friends that morning, staying in a travellodge, and hours and hours in the car. Can I out do 5.5 gain in a week?!
