You're all right of course, and I'm happier still today (with 14lbs in not quite 3 weeks) - just that I'd made a lot of effort on the food/behavioural/exercise front last weekend, yet gained 2lb on Friday's weight! I'd be better not weighing again on a Monday methinks cos I had a miserable day!
Speaking of which, here's hoping today's less manic at work...
A+
Thank you all. I'm nearing the stage where I always get stuck now... so things will be necessarily more difficult. So long as it doesn't rain, and I can keep walking each morning, I'll hang in there!
Conso? <sticking fingers in ears so can't hear you... la la la!>
Oh and none of my jeans fit. So I can't stay at this weight. Gotta be down, and the larger ones can be packed away...
Been there, done that, didn't work for me (well I got there... for a day!) but might for you!!
I'm not looking far ahead... "one day at a time" as alcoholics say.
I'm sadly happy cos I just checked the RT online TV guide and a series I really enjoyed last time is back on C5 tonight ("Ice Road Truckers!"). For those of us who thought we drove on icy roads last year, this is amazing!
Oh and they're mentioning SNOW again over here... hmm...
I hear you there. Everyone else on conso seems to be doing so well but everytime i eat something bad it goes back on. Im just so glad it comes off easy when you put your mind to it.
I was just like you in Conso... so the mere thought of going through that again puts me off ever arriving! I certainly need a long slow carb reintroduction after trillions of years of alternating dieting and binge eating.
before the kids i was only ever within 10kgs (ans usually 5) of what i wanted to be so crash dieting always worked and sometimes i would even go to the doctors and get diet pills, although i dont know why they would have given them to me.
I always believed i ate "healthy" but now when i cook for the family and i do roasts with either potato bake, or cauliflower cheese and the roast vege, or i make schnitzels or pasta i see that there are many calories in each and every meal. My hubby is 6'6 and can eat whatever he likes and its only since i have been with him that i put on well over 10kg. still i am blaming him lol
