Ireland- bia- a bit of craic!

Thanks, I had more than cake...was very bold...lol...have some serious pulling back to do before I see those scales next Tuesday! Isnt it horrible how only a few days of not being good can do so much damage to your weightloss!:scale:

Ah it was your birthday, you've got dispensation, you have till Tuesday to make up for it. Hope you had a great time.

Yesterday turned into a bit of a disaster. Thankfully I've managed to jump back on the bandwagon today.

Really proud of myself, while in town this morning, was very tempted to nip into Abrakebabra, or McD's or Supermacs, basically anything fast-foody. In the end, I went to the butcher and bought a peppered steak, followed by a trip to the greengrocer for bananas, onion, mushrooms, pepper. Ate the bananas as a quick fix and then cooked the steak, mushrooms, onion, and pepper for lunch when I got home.

On the menu for tonight is Spag Bol. Lots of veg in the sauce.

Planning a fry for tomorrow's breakfast.

Well that's half the battle isn't it Fergus, recognise a weakness & combat it,same here got plums & bananas as a quick fix & then thoroughly enjoyed lunch at home, save syns for goodies 2nite infront of the box.

I'm lashing as much veg into everything as I can & I have fruitbowl stacked. You will get the odd lousy day but once it's only a day & you don't let it ruin your week you'll be grand.

Enjoy your spag Bol & rest of your weekend :)

Was only thinking of butternut squash soup.

Snap! Butternut squash soup is just what i had for lunch :)

No recipe as such, just butternut squash, then veg soup mix ( prechopped onion, carrots, leeks and other superfree stuff) from supervalu, with a couple of veg stock cubes, and a generous sprinkly of chilli flakes for a kick.

Sounds lovely Maria, just what you want to eat on a miserable day like this. We're curled up infront of the telly watching Harry Potter.

I just had it for lunch. Just butternut squash in chicken oxo cube. When boiled I add a little milk and lighter than light philly. Yummy

 I made scones and mary berry lemon drizzle cake yesterday. Hubby is obsessed with having something with his tea.

If you did you would be depressed trying not to eat. Hubby can eat a lot cause he runs 80k a week. In training for marathon.

Start of another week of work, and end of a week of SW. WI later. Fingers crossed for my first shiny sticker :)

Good luck Maria. Both kids are off school with chest infection so wont get out for my walk. Trying to stay out of the kitchen.
