Hi girls,
I'm fine - been very busy, and to be honest I didn't really feel that anyone was that interested in my posts anyway. I hope you're both well though - I shall check out your Freds and see what you've been up to.
So I've still been SWing. With not a huge amount of success it seems. I am currently down to 16st 8lbs - so lost 1/2 pound since I last posted. It has been a little up and down, with holidays etc, but I just don't seem to be losing big these days at all. I'm preparing myself for a really long journey this time. I have re-started my C25K at last too. Currently midway through week 5. Minor hiccup there too - I hurt my back (not sure how exactly), which stopped me for a couple of weeks (when my weight went up a few pounds too).
I was thinking about how I could help my weight come off quicker - then realised that today I've not really drunk a lot of fluid. So I must try hard to have more water/herbal teas I think. Overall though, I think I'm pretty much back into the swing of things and enjoying the plan again. So if it is slow, provided it's coming off bit by bit, I know it's going in the right direction and that I'm making important lifestyle changes. I have to say that already, I am finding the running quite addictive, and have more energy as a result.
Have a busy few months coming up - which I suspect will also challenge my losses a bit. Have the bairn's 11+ in a couple of weeks, with his results due a fortnight after that. I will be celebrating or commiserating, and it is bound to involve some alcofrol and a bit of off plan.
End of October me, my sister and a friend are off to Cologne - I definitely won't be on plan for that. After that I am at Boot camp for a whole week. That should of course benefit me in the long run, but I suspect that initially my body may be storing water from the excessive exercise - weigh in will be interesting that week. I come back on the Friday, WI is on the Monday. We shall see. Then a few weeks after that sees a couple of weeks of 40th birthday celebrations. I'll of course be good in between, but the days/nights I am going out I will be off plan too. So a lot of planning to be good in between these treats, and try not to go wild over Christmas. I am happy with that though, I think a maintain on those weeks - and keeping up the running, would be a really good, and just about achievable goal.
Anyhoo, I'll stop banging on now.
