It's Now Or Never

Well keep in touch anyway. Maybe just regularly posting in will help at least keep it in check a bit.

I agree though, it really is cider weather.

I've been good and just made myself a juice. It's lovely: sweet potato, carrots, red pepper, 2 apples and an orange. I made it 7 syns for the juiced fruit. Think it could have done with some ginger too though. Now I'm getting the hang of SW again I want to resume my juicing- try and get one in a day. They always make me feel so good, and a lot of them involve veggies so great for super free too. :)

Just realised I've not had either of my healthy extras. Bugger. Not sure I want anything else now either. I am really going to have a look at getting some light snacky bits in for them. Maybe some nuts for the B. Maybe I'll have room for a banana milkshake later, I have enough syns for the banana.

**** edit ****

OK, I ended up having some seeds and a portion of cheese as a little snack. So am good. I might pop into the health food shop tomorrow though and get some nuts and more seeds though.

Your juice sounds yummy, I'd love to eat things like that all the time, but the cost of food makes me try to string it out as long as possible!!! We do have some fruit and plenty salad stuff in, but I find it so easy toeat at this time of year, I could spend a fortune on it!! xxx

Yes, fruit and veg is so bloody expensive in the UK. I am trying to do one juice a day. Bulking them up with cheaper veg where I can lol

Had a horrible day at work. Had to actually step outside for a bit as I was about to burst into tears. Over nothing really, which makes me feel stupid about that as well as annoyed at the situation. Think I'm also stressing as they are starting to move our department up to Coventry. Although they're trying to say otherwise, we're all certain the rest of us will follow. I can't do that with the bairn which leaves me trying to find another job. Could do without it, but hey ho.

Food all good though. Spot on 15 syns today. 5.5 of which are fruit for my juice. :)

I have been very good. Had a nice evening watching the bairn play cricket - treated myself to two halves of cider (9.5 syns) and a single mini flapjack (3.5 syns). Didn't go mad, enjoyed what I had and am now smug about staying within syn allowance. No juice today :)

Had a sort of planned oopsie day yesterday. Vodka was planned, but I may have also consumed other naughties during the day. Hey ho.

Just been for a nice walk along the riverside and now have syn free sausages, flat cap mushrooms and cherry tomatoes cooking for brunch. I am suffering from the vodka consumption though, so I may just have juice for the rest of the day. We'll see, but whatever I have, it'll be well within plan. I'm determined I'm getting into the 16s for tomorrow's weigh in. :)

Thanks Lin. Should have stuck to gin huh? :). Have just relented and taken two solpandine max, so hopefully I'll feel better soon.

Have started scoffing the tomatoes already, but here's brunch. Nom nom nom.

Morning chica - I have a wine head today, and it doesn't want to go away at all.
Went to a Mexican night last evening and far too much food and alcohol were consumed.
Going to have a quiet day methinks and do nothing.

Oh poor you - but happy you last night! :)

Yes, the bairn is with his Dad today. So I will do a bit of ironing, hovering, steam floors in between super bike races. I'm also working on a Union Jack cross stitch, so I'll do a bit of that too. No pressure, lovely!

Hope your head improves soon x

Well, I did the ironing and some cross stitch but naff all else lol.

I've not had any syns at all today, so I feel a little appeased after yesterday's indulgence. I bought a carton of the Alpro Hazelnut drink yesterday. It's a bit strange at first, but not bad now I've got used to it. You're allowed 400ml for an HEa, so am having it tonight as I hadn't had any other dairy. Could be a handy option when I'm struggling for an HEa, little bits of cheese worry me as I just want more!

Evening all (well anyone left who reads my diary at any rate).

I lost another 1.5lbs, so I've just scraped into the 16s, and I mean just. Given my excesses on Saturday I'll take that. But I'm determined to be 100% this week.

My next goal is to reach single figures in the 16s. I.e. 16st 9lbs. That's 4.5lbs away, but onwards I go.

Food all good today, had 14.5 syns. Got to go to Coventry tomorrow, so a very early start for me. Plus my parents are having the bairn tomorrow evening for me as I won't get back till late. So I have to make sure he has clothes for school and games for Wednesday packed tonight too. Phew!

Well done chica. Only JUST in the 16's still counts and 7.5 lbs gone. Yayyyyyyyyy
Hope the long day in Coventry doesn't knacker you out too much. Try and sleep on the train if you can.

Lol thanks. Helluva lot more to go though. Now sitting at 76.5/84 :)

On way to Cov and had a call from bairn, who's thrown up all over the kitchen floor and all upset. Fortunately my Dad was around so is going to collect him, and he'll be at my parent's for the day. He's staying there tonight, so I just feel **** about the whole thing. I'll collect him first thing in the morning, but hate putting everyone in this position. Being a single working mother is bloody tough sometimes, pulled in every direction, getting it wrong whatever you do, feeling guilty and next to no support. At least my parents are able to help today, but that's only as my Mum is still off work after her knee replacement. Bairn will be fine with them, he's gotten changed into comfy clothes and got some books. Poor Bubba. :-(

Deep breath!

So am fighting a strong desire to eat naughtiness. Grrrrr. Need to be strong today.

It's awful when you can't be with the children when they are unwell, and makes it so hard to concentrate on what you are supposed to be doing x

BTW well done on the loss!

Sorry - lost the plot on this  Expanation required por favor.

Hope the bairn is ok. Could the upchuck be just stress 'cos mum's not there?

OK, so Tues and Weds turned into big oops days. Stress definitely triggers it off hey?

But I was back on it today, and am gonna try and stay as close to red days as I can for a few days.

I had brekkie today - branflakes, mixed berries and Shape yoghurt. Some fruit to snack, then a big lunch of pan fried salmon, cherry tomatoes and mixed peppers on a bed of salad leaves. For tea I had hazelnut drink heated with some instant coffee - voila! Hazelnut latte! Lol. That was my HEa.

I've only just stopped working and won't eat anything else. I've essentially skipped a meal I know, but maybe it'll make up for the old toot I scoffed over the last two days. Think I have chilli tomorrow, may leave out the rice and just serve it on a bed of salad leaves.

So tired.....

You've had a tough couple of days - so I'm not surprised you're tired. Try and get a bit more "me time" if you can to relax and de-stress.
OK - skipping the odd meal is ok. But what you've had today is a recipe for disaster if you do it long term.
You'll get hungry and pick at things you shouldn't. You know this.
All I can see today is 1 * HexA and 1 * HexB. Not enough for a RED day.

If you're doing RED or GREEN days then you need 1 or 2 HexA PLUS 2 HexB chica.
Rice ain't allowed on a red day anyway - it's only a very small portion of pasta or spuds.
Obviously you can have your cereals or bread or small amount of beans etc as a HexB, but you shouldn't skip yout B's.
You need them to balance the plan.

If this is grandmothers and eggs then tell me to bog off!
But I want to keep you on track and not be tempted to snack on the wrong things.

((( HUGS )))
