I've always been thinking it isn't too serious as it isn't all the time and normally much shorter lived than this episode. But yes I will need to go now or she will be on my case night and day lol. I won't be allowed to forget about it.

I just popped into the sw website to update my food diary (fruit and quark for breakfast as was feeling more settled) and discovered I have achieved the bronze body magic award :) Yay for me woohoo.

It's getting difficult keeping up with your diary if I go awol for a day or two lol

Congrats on the bronze award hun - silver here you come with your jogging and late night swinging :D

Hope the tummy trouble settles soon, shame it had to happen on your night out :( Funny I've not had any quark since you started having it all the time lol I'm missing out - your brekkie with quark and maple syrup sounded lovely :) xx
 
I should do different things with it too loChan but never get around to it lol

I had some potato and beans for lunch and an orange and have been out for around a 2 mile walk, but I feel really tired and sluggish :( walked really slow too as I just didn't have the energy. My baby has just woke from a nap so he'll be lively for the next few hours and now all I want to do is sleep!

Evening Izzy - sorry to hear about your tummy upset. Thats how my IBS hits me too, then I get the hot sweats too lol.

Your like me re: the scary movies etc, nothing much phases me really
 
Well done on achieving the Bronze Body Magic!

I would definitely urge you to get to the docs to get checked out like your friend suggested. I suffer terribly with IBS and have done for years but it is so much more manageable now than it used to be - I seem to have finally found the right medication. I used to get your symptoms 2-3 times a week but it's nowhere near that now.

I'm feeling mostly better now, still not quite my normal energy but almost there.

I only had some potato and beans at lunch as I still wasn't 100% and I am currently sat at 1 syn over partly due to using 8 for the tortilla pizza, and partly because some Jaffa cakes 'looked' at me earlier :eek: but I don't think that's too bad really. Also at lunch I only had a can of beans and sausages left, so I gave my daughter the sausages so could have been worse lol. Probably going to have me a yoghurt soon and that will be me until tomorrow.

I have to take tablets 3x per day but mine is quite bad :( It still flares up now and then but not nearly as much as it used to. My sister also suffers but she just needs to take different medication when she feels it flaring up, it's a sachet of powder that she just adds to water. I tried that at first too but it didn't work for me. It might not even be that so definitely worth getting checked out. Maybe you've got an intolerance to something?

Your food pictures are making me hungry and I'm craving pizza...! I've used all of my syns so will make them with HexB pittas and HexA cheese :)
 
My IBS has been virtually none existant since I started SW - I really do think mine flared up because of all the cr*p processed food I used to eat. I used to get 100 immodiums on prescription from the doc and then he stopped them. I now always keep a pack in my bag, I keep a pack in my drawer at work so that if it does get bad I take them to stop me running to the loo

Its best not to self diagnose hun - get it checked out
 
The thing that bothers me is when it does happen there wouldn't be any point in taking immodium etc. It's over so quickly. What normally happens is with no warning I suddenly have really bad crampy pains, almost like labour pains but in the wrong place(for those who have experienced it) and then I simply *must* go to the toilet, and then it's over. Immodium wouldn't have time to work, and usually that's the end of it so not running back and forth for an extended period. Yesterday was unusual for me, but even then I only had to go to the loo twice. I've just felt off colour and sluggish since but none of the cramping etc, and no urgent toilet dashes.

you are right self diagnosis is not the way forward. I'll call tomorrow and see what they have available, I'm a bit picky about who I want to see so sometimes have to wait a bit lol. All the docs at my surgery are fine to be fair so I'd see any of them if urgent, but there are two I like best for discussing things that are intimate/embarrassing/whatever.
 
Morning Lynne and all :) Not too bad thanks, how are you? I was going to start week 6 of couch to 5k today, but after feeling so sluggish yesterday I have decided to postpone until tomorrow, I do feel better but baba got me up early so I am feeling tired and I don't want to struggle having come so far. Day 1 is 5 and 8 minute jogs which I know I can confidently do now, and I don't want my confidence knocked by trying it when I'm not quite my normal energy levels yet. Hope that made sense! So I will do tues, thurs and fri I think.

My son has his normal 2 hours with my childminder this morning followed by my visit for our weekly catch up when she swaps from childminder to friend mode lol. I will spend my 2 hours trying to re-tidy my downstairs I think. I do hate houseworky stuff :s really need to clean my loo too. Living the high life here haha.

Fooooood well I have had what has become my staple of fruit/quark and maple syrup lol. Although I didn't add the aldi bar today, so I still have my full HE's to use. I also need to get the breadmaker busy and make more buns, but will wait until I am back from my friends later.

Monday lunch always has to be a quickie so will probably be mugshot pasta

Tea tonight is going to be something involving chicken, haven't decided what yet, sticky chicken always goes down well here but I might have a rummage for a new recipe to try.


I actually don't feel like I have my full appetite today, I think saturday nights episode has taken a lot out of me :sigh:

that and my 8 yr old who is chancing her luck and trying my nerves, although having said that, when she is being a pain it usually makes me want to demolish the contents of the fridge lol. Yes emotional eater indeed I am.
