Hello Hun, I've been a silent follower of you for a while (not a stalker in any way) lol and just wanted to say you have done great! I'm giving ww a proper second go and hopefully follow it correctly like you have done :) x

Aw, thanks so much! Have you got a diary? :) WW does work, promise! ;) My best advice is to just not be afraid to use your weeklies - they're there for a reason! Feel free to ask any questions etc you may have ;) I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to my pro-point knowledge!

That does sound like a very busy day! I know the wedding is quite soon but when is it? Are you excited about it?

Menu for tomorrow looks great, although I reckon you should be cooking for 11 - what time do you want me round?!

Haha! Would love your company Atomic! And, 2 weeks today! Has been very busy - finished the table plans though, anyone want a pic? :p Managed to get a 50-min gym session in too! Going to buy myself some proper running trainers and a sports bra ASAP tho, my current trainers offer no support at all - achey ankles!

A feast indeed - you're more than welcome if you're feeling up to braving my cooking, lol!

Lol am sure you're a good cook :0)
Yup share the piccy! Good idea about the sport bra and trainers, well done on your gym workout :0)

You're certainly doing very well on all fronts there Libby!
Was reminded of you this afternoon when I was in Tescos shopping. A young lady was shopping with (who I presumed) to be her mother. The mum asked her what she was going to cook tomorrow and she replied sausage stew. She looked very much like you too.
I think it's great that young people learn to cook. My Ds were able to cook a Sunday roast dinner at the age of about 12yo.

I have got a diary but going to be starting ww properly on Monday now, went out with my husband and daughter today and ended up falling into an Asian Buffett restaurant lol I never go to these places and rarely eat out but I enjoyed it :)

By your results and others I've seen it definately does work, I'm going to swot up tonight and tomorrow on points and the free foods etc

You may regret letting me loose on you with questions lol

Hmm, interesting coincidence! Thank you! :)

I really enjoy cooking/baking - in fact, got some jammy cookies/biscuits in the oven now, my whole house smells delicious!

Thank you it will be pp but I'm putting it off for 1 more week as I know I can't do it next week so have no diary at the moment. Basically next week il be up early as i have to sort out my daughter (she's 9 months old) get a bus to take her to my mums, bus back to work, and then it will be bus straight to college after work and get home at 10pm or the 2 days I don't have college bus back to my mums to pick her up then home again, bath and feed her then put her to bed lol so not really much time to plan any food so will just have shakes next week.

Won't be so bad the week after as I will have left my job and transferred to a daytime course 9-3 3 days a week so a lot easier to manage lol x

Catching up on diaries. You've certainly been busy Libby! I love the table plan idea for the wedding.

The wedding stuff looks great! I really like the London theme, very fun.

Food looking good too and you certainly sound like a very good cook. Experience comes with time and you have plenty of that ahead of you. I think the most important thing about being a "good cook" is having the motivation to cook itself. A natural instinct with flavours and textures that would go together helps but really its just experience and practice for all of us I reckon. I didn't really do much cooking bar the odd cake and stirfry until I went to university really as my mum was always very precious about her kitchen and other people "messing it up".

I agree - wanting to cook is half way there. Also wanting to enjoy the whole food experience - the planning, shopping, creating the meal itself and then enjoying the food you have cooked, especially if others enjoy it too. (I don't include the washing up in this 'enjoying it' scenario :8855:) The more you experiment with and experience the food itself, the more you learn about combining flavours and textures etc. That's why I love WW - when I want to, I can cook, and it's all allowed!

Very true moonwalker.

I find the best solution to the washing/ clearing up problem is to find a partner who is just as interested in the eating exciting things but is useless at cooking ;)

Certainly go along with all that has been said!
I always loved cooking and (excuse the anecdote) when I was at school we had Domestic Science classes where it involved everything necessary in running a home. I learnt to cook cakes and would always do all the cake making at home much to the rest of the family's delight...altho' I must admit my mums chocolate steamed puddings with chocolate sauce took some beating!! Makes my mouth water at the thought...
