My grandad, although he tries is still stuck in the 1900's he just doesn't get today! :rotflmao: But yet my grandma is a 'cool' grandma with clothes, mobile, internet the lot! hahahaha
 
If my Nan was still alive she'd be 115 ... no chance there I don't think lol! xx
 
Well believe it or not I lost 0.6lb!!! Kudos to the pure protein!!;)!!

Trouble is I feel like 'rewarding' myself tonight but I'm trying not to give into it too much because 'treat' nights can negate all the good done and mean another 'catch up' scenario!!!

Monday 26th July

Breakie - boiled egg & chicken & little squirt of vlf salad cream

Bed

When I got up - a nectarine and a l'il bit of chicken

Tea - Turkey thigh stew with colcannon & green beans

Made sarnies for tomorrow & picked at a piece of ham and a slivver of cheese.

Gonna have some oatcakes later with cheese and egg & bacon sandwich filler. It's telling myself this that's stopping me eating NOW!!!

Edit - had 2 oatcakes and 2 krispbakes with phili light, egg& bacon sarnie filler & a bit of cheshire cheese with a slim squeeze of light mayo xx

Well done on your loss. A loss is a loss no matter how big or small. You are so right about not giving in to the temptation of rewarding yourself. I think this brings us back to the comfort eating again. We all got food as a reward for being good!!! It is so damn hard to break that training from the cradle!! Resist the temptation and hope this week is a good one for you too.

I like to look at your menus to see how you are maintaining so well and give me some good ideas for when I come on to maintenance. Keep up the good work!

I don't think 0.6lb is much to be jealous of but I WAS pleased to have pulled back from the overindulgence last week.

However ... :( ... I DID have a Kellog's square (which aren't square at all :/) and 3 malted milk biscuits. It's having all this stuff in for the kids ... grrrrr ...!

ANYWAY!

Tuesday - 27th July

Breakie - 2 weetabix, berries etc
Alpen light bar before acupunture (wouldn't have bothered but I WAS a bit hungry and you're supposed to eat before acupunture (?) )

Lunch - John West snack lunch
2 walkers cheese & onion

2 bits of cheese (free samples in sainsburys)
bite of billionaires shortcake

Tea - baked salmon & salad with vlf salad cream

1 piece of butterkist

V&Cs xx

Noooo I meant snap as in the card game as we had the same thing for tea! Hehe

Wednesday 28th July

Didn't have anything till 12pm - seeing to the boys, having bathtime fun ... I really enjoyed it ..... anyway, when I came to eat I still wanted my breakfast so that's what I had :)

Breakie/lunch - 2 weetabix, berries, etc ... the usual.

1 little wine gum

Tea - Lasagne with garlic bread. L'il bit nawty but not much ;)
OH! And 2 teaspoons of kid's chocolate pudding with custard.

Work - I've been shopping for meat and fish, I'm thinking I might do the 'protein thing' while I'm working for a few weeks - see if I can lose those stubborn pounds (it's me that's stubborn though isn't it? Lol :D)
Chicken and boiled eggs tonight I think. I've got some cooked chicken pieces and I can't be bothered cooking anything else tonight, I need a rest before I go to work if I stand ANY chance of staying awake. xx
