YAY SOOPAH!!! ... There's always a pub or something right by the Express by Holiday Inns though obviously I don't know what that one is like, and it IS the one by the park & ride. We haven't booked it yet - John's keeping his eye on the weekend papers. Each week the offers have been moving forward and as soon as it covers our weekend he's going to book it xx

Thursday 28th October

Breakie - porridge with a few rasps, bluebs and a couple of dried apricots.

Bed

Tea - Baked chicken breast with stir fry

work - chunky chicken pieces with salad & balsamic, slice of soya & linseed & a pear. xx

I'm well excited now!!!! I've stayed in that holiday inn and I'm sure there is a little pub next to it we can sort details out nearer the time!! How exciting!!!!! Xx

Friday 29th October

Breakie - Porridge made with water with berries, boiled egg. (Went to my son's this morning on the way home as it's his birthday - his wife had cooked enough bacon for me to have a buttie but I refused! )

Bed

Tea - Pouch of chicken & potato hot pot - not the best GL wise but easy, quick & the last pouch meal in the cupboard .. (did NOT have the end off DH's fish or any chips!)

2 oatcakes with hummus

mum's - a slice of ham, half a dozen almonds

work - chicken & boiled egg salad with balsamic & a slice of soya & linseed. xx

LOL! I know exactly what you mean - it was weird meeting Iris .. hearing her speak ... mind you - come to think of it, she disappeared from here soon after so maybe I AM a bit strange and scared her off .. Only joking Iris xx

Saturday 30th October

Mum's - crust off small wholemeal toasted with phili light on

Breakie - Porridge with splenda & berries - made with water but with a splash of milk to serve.

Bed

Tea - Baked chicken breast with brocolli, leek & a very small baked sweet potato.

Wine xx

2 oatcakes - 1 with phili light, 1 with hummus

Jan, hope you are doing well. I see you are giving the GL another go though you seem to really stick pretty much to a lot of GL friendly foods anyhow. Best of luck with it.
Meeting Tanya soon!! Gosh I hope you both have a lovely time together. You will have to forget the diets that evening for sure!!
