I actually wouldnt mind coming up north, never been further than like Bristol and London. Although been to Thorpe Park, is that pretty northenly?!

MOI? Being thick ... ?
It'd be lovely to get together ... we've been looking at travelling around in September as an alternative to going to Kefalonia as we usually do because of volcanic ash/the euro/the troubles in greece, and have talked about being able to see Mary .... not a HUGE detour from some of John's family near Swansea and Tan - and we have friends in Tintagel in Cornwall we should be able to get close enough (assuming they're both amenable of course) but I have to say I never realised how far Plymouth is!!! We'll do it one day though!!! Determined!!!))) xx

Awww thanks Tan .... Yes iris & I are 'lunching' on 2nd June ... - I'm not sure where Thorpe Park is tbo but we are about an hour & half further north than Alton Towers if that helps - however it's really easy to get to Liverpool by train and you're very welcome to stay with us so ..... ????? xx

Yes, plymouth is pretty down far! But, it is a very nice place! We've got some pretty good scenery etc and were on the coast, so what more could i ask for besides all round sun and heat hey?!! :giggle: x

HaHa - just googled Thorpe Park - it's 20 miles from central london whereas I am more like 200 miles further north
haha so is Alton Towers further? As ive been there too! lol xxx
