Now I am back on TFR, I am using a hot water bottle at night for my feet - its the only downside of TFR for me, is being blooming freezing all the time.
 
Was mentioning to OH you were going there and he said "oh, she has chosen a nice place"!!!! So, there you go, from the horses mouth :)

Re heating in the 'good' old days - we had a coal fire in the living room with a damper(?) that you had to get poker in the end of and push up & down when you wanted to heat the water. Other than that we just had 2 paraffin heaters, one in the bathroom and - I can't remember where the other one was but I can 'see' them both. :)

So - Wednesday 12th May - not doing so good up to now :eek:

Breakie - early coz had to go & look after grandson - 2 weetabix, blue & blackberries etc

About 9.30 - piece of toast with Flora really light or whatever it's called - whatever it's called it's disgusting! (Ate it though :eek:)

Fun size milky way

Took little Ted to my mother's - had 2 biscuits .. :(

Jan, that is ok!!!!!!! why you beating yourself up; why are 2 biscuits wrong and a slice of bread and horrid butter/marg!! Now come on :whoopass:

Ha Ha ... I guess you're right Iris - I think it's probably more the WAY I ate - especially the milky way and the biscuits - I didn't 'choose' to coz I was hungry I HAD to ... That little Fred took over :eek: ..... :)

Lunch - Some 'finest' pea & ham soup & a slice of pumpkin & sesame bread x

Think I'll have to have a kip this afternoon coz I was up early & start work tonight ... HOWEVER it IS my last rota before hols :):) (not that I'm trying to rub it in or anything ;)) xx
 
Hope the last shift goes quick for you Jan.

I will look at that link again tonight at home and see if I can re-send. In work at the moment.

Your day doesnt look that bad Jan! Like you say the reason behind why you ate the milky way and biccies is why you feel its a bad day!

Ahhhhhh last shift before your jollies! I bet it goes reeeeeeeeeeeeally slllllllllllllllowwwwwww!!!!! :giggle:

Had a kip! .. Feel rubbish now - I always do if I do that which is why I prefer to try to lie in but couldn't be helped today ... ANYWAY!!!!

Had a slice of ham before i went to bed

Tea - cod florentine with brocolli & leeks & I'll have a pear later.

I've packed for work - a tin of lentil & pancetta soup, 5 melba toasts & an individual pot of phili extra light. xx

Here you are Tanya.

2-4 Servings

500g spinach
salt and pepper
pinch ground nutmeg
butter
4 cod steaks
a little milk
250ml thick cheese sauce
2 oz strong grated cheese
1 tblsp fresh breadcrumbs
Low-carb
Low-fat
Egg-free
Nut-free
Sugar-free






Cook spinach, drain well and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and butter. Place in the bottom of an ovenproof dish.
Cook cod steaks in a little milk, drain and stir milk into cheese sauce.
Arrange cod steaks on spinach, cover with sauce and sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake at 200ºC (400°F, gas mark 6) for 15 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot with sauté potatoes.

I do like cooking from scratch but I'm not averse to grabbing something out of the freezer or opening a jar of sauce as well ;)

WELL!!!! Have I got the munchies OR have I got the munchies!!!! :eek::(

This morning at my mother's ... well let's see what i can remember .....
a big rolo cookie
a cream biscuit
a milky way
a piece of toast with clover
a half coated biscuit
.... can't remember anything else ....

On the way home I decided I was going to have a cheese sandwich - only to find we didn't have any bread! I cut a thick slice of cheese anyway - spread a sachet of mayo on it and ate it 'neat'.
Then I had a boots shapers bar - I'm going to have to stop getting these - I find I'm only eating them when I want some chocolate - or is that a good thing?? I've got some chocolate in but it's not too 'bad' ... I dunno ...

Tea - Lamb in a moroccan sauce with rice. Pear.

eat natural kids lunchie
slice of soya & linseed with butter & egg & bacon sandwich filler

I thought I'd better bring a bit more to work or I might be 'pinching' stuff so I've brought ..
Ham salad with balsamic
5 melba toasts with individual pot of phili light
pear
plum
little box of sultana & apple snack (kids lunch thing)

***sigh*** ... here we go again :eek: xx
