Looks like the the holiday mode has kicked in Jan :rolleyes:

P.s .... i know all too well that cheese thingy! I used to cut off a huge chunk and spread it with hp sauce! :drool:
 
I know where you are coming from Jan, it seems to be once you start you just cant stop, I find that happens to me. Its as soon as I eat one thing that I really shouldnt have, it starts a vicious circle.

Definitely been a picky day for you, hopefully the night will be a little better.

Holiday mood/mode is so dangerous. I think thats why I am TRF'ing right up until before I go, just a refeed then.
 
Yes - good idea Mary. My plan WAS to stay in 'losing' mode till Sunday at least but I think the meal out on Tuesday triggered that switch in my head ... grrrrrrr ... still - never mind eh? Swings & roundabouts xx
 
Mad's right - & totally counter-productive!!

I've already eaten everything I brought with me AND a piece of bread with vitalite and some strange italian cooked meat ..... :( grrrrrr :) xx

And just to add insult to injury I've also had a pack of Go Ahead raspberry yoghurt breaks :eek: xx

Oh Jan, you are in that mode!! Nip it in the bud Jan; and I only say that because I know the worst feeling in the world is going on holiday and at the airport and you feel bloated! I hate it,,,,honestly up there with the worst things!! (for me)!!

So, you have Fri and Sat to just watch what you are eating! I know holiday mode is on and that trigger is so easily switched on, but I think someone then puts sticky tape over it and you cant switched it off ;)

Dont give into Fred; you want to go and have the best holiday ever, seeing you are going to the best place ever :p:p:p

So telling off is over from little old moi :)hahahaha...
 
Hope today is a better day for you Jan, like Iris says, it IS horrible being at the airport with that bloated feeling before you even consume the goodies on holiday.

Come on Mrs, a couple of really good days before Olu Deniz should see you right.
 
The worst feeling is at the airport coming home .....1, because youve eaten and drank far too much and can feel it and 2, because its home time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( LOL!!!!

As I've just said on Mary's thread I don't get on till late the nights I'm working (apart from the first one) because I don't unpack my laptop at home between shifts. Weekend nights even later because I don't start till 11pm.

I hear what you're all saying about not going away feeling bloated & horrible and I totally agree. I was, if anything, even worse this morning than yesterday morning :eek: - However - since I've got up tonight I've been okay and I too, am thinking I have a couple of days to at least get rid of the 'stuffed to bursting' feeling.

Tonight I had a pouch of Thai green curry with 4 chippie chips and the VERY end off DH's fish batter. Followed later by a pear and even later by a slice of ham rolled with phili light.

I've brought to work a pouch of batchelors beef & veg soup, 5 melba toasts with an individual phili light, 2 pears and a plum.

I've lost that 'gotta go & get something to EAT' feeling (for the moment at least) and I didn't have anything at Mum's this evening.... OOO actually that's not true - I DID cut the very tiny corner off a left over piece of KFC :eek: ... not bad though comparitively speaking ;) xx
