JanD's Maintenance Diary. Week 38 onwards.

Thanks guys :)

Not a good day today but will be straight back on track tomorrow.

Breakie - 1 weetabix, blueberries, splenda & skimmed milk

Lunch - In the pub - Roast, including chicken, 2 small roasties, a bit of mash, carrots, broccoli & peas, 2 pigs in blankets, yorkshire pud with a stuffing ball in it (well there were 2 - I only ate 1) and gravy. A few wines

Have had about half an inch cut off the crust of a 50-50 loaf with Butter and 2 little bits of easter egg (and believe me they WERE little - have you ever tried to get chocolate off a 5 year old?? LOL!)

Will probably have soup and a roll later, I'm having some more wine and there is a box of Lindor chocs that my step-daughter bought us for easter (my kids know better!) that is boring a hole in my brain even though I made DH hide them ****sigh**** - best to get rid ;);):p ...... I could have given them to my son, I could have sent them to my Mother's via my sister & brother-in-law who we went out for lunch with but at the back of my brain I WANT them!!!!!! :( xx

:giggle: Doesnt sound too bad of a day Jan, you should see mine!!!

Chocolates, go for it! HAVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :giggle: they are delish!!

I agree with Tanya, doesnt look too bad at all Jan.

Now a little bit of what you fancy does you good - My Mother always told me that. So you shouldn't have given those chocolates away, but keep DH hiding them, but be allowed maybe 2 a day.

Oh that's pretty much decided Tan .... it's the wine that's more of a calorie issue today. I shared a bottle in the pub with my sister, then we had another glass each and now I'm into another bottle at home!! Not feeling any effects either .... which probably only bears witness to how much I've eaten! LOL! xx

Jan, just enjoy the rest of the night, you did well with your loss this week, so straight back on track tomorrow, and today probably will have no effect whatsoever hun xx

:8855::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855:If you only knew how absolutely impossible I would find that Mary!!!! I'm very much afraid I am a true addict - that is becoming clearer and clearer to me the longer I try to find a happy medium with things ...... so don't know why I was laughing really  :break_diet:

Finger's crossed! xx

Turned into 7 chocs - gave DD a few ;) xx

7  hehe

Jan, have a lovely week 'see' you when im back :) xxx

We'll miss yoooooooo !

I also had the rest of that piece of 50-50 with clover - half with houmous and half with egg&bacon sandwich filler, a pkt of walker's cheese&onion and a boots shapers bar :(

Ah well - today's another day. I have 2 of 'my boys' so there will be added challenges but I'm sure I can cope :)

For breakie I've gone back up to 2 weetabix (because I think I'll need the energy with these 2 ;)) with the usual.

Will edit later ... have a good day! xx

Edit ... Lunch in Tescos (I know how to live ;):)) - Veg soup & a roll, one mini egg (weeeeeeell rude to say no when kids want to share ;))

Well effectively I did Mary because DD left 1 so I ate it or it only would have been 6!

Tea tonight has been another Morroccan concoction containing turkey, onion, mushrooms, passata, sweet potato & stock.

Probably be a few V&Cs imbibed tonight when the little ones are in bed ... They've worn me out and my back's 'gone' so I deserve them ;) - like I need an excuse LOL! xx

Just crushed tomatoes Mary - with or without herbs & stuff. You don't get the bits of tomatoes/skin etc it's nice and smooth and thicker than tinned. I use it a lot xx

Pkt skips 4 supper xx

Looks like your still doing well Jan. I often have passata with a spoonful of pesto, a little garlic and have it with some pasta, a quick and easy meal, sprinke a little parmesan on and it's not bad calorie wise either.

Thanks Joy - that sounds like a good quick and easy meal! Good idea.
I haven't been as good this week as last up to now but I intend to up my game now that the grandchildren have gone home and I'm back in work. So no kiddies things or outings and no alcohol.

Wednesday 7th April
Breakie - 2 weetabix etc
Lunch -Just less than half a tin of Tesco New England Fish Chowder and a wholemeal roll.
About 2/3rds of an Alpen Light bar
2 yellow plums, a piece of pear.

I've packed for work a salad with a small (155g) tin of pilchards in tomato sauce, a pear and 2 yellow plums. Fingers crossed I can be a good girl at my mother's again this week ;) x
