JanD's New Year, New Start, Maintenance Diary

Ooooh yes, river cobbler is lovely. The fillets my dad bought were from asda and they were huge and only £2 for them both. Shame you don't have anything like that in Jersey.

Looking good today Jan. 6:30 wake up, ouch!!!!!!!!!!! :( xx

I KNOW!!! 6.30am is usually towards the END of my day ;) xx

Editing food xx

Jan, you are sounding very positive on your pp plan this week . Hang in there and see how you go. Enjoy your day today.

I'm determined to remain positive for this week but if some weight doesn't shift I'll have to think again!

I've spent a lot of time in the kitchen today preparing and cooking stuff - I've enjoyed it :)
I made a big pan of butternut squash soup which we've had for lunch and there's enough for work for 2 nights too.
I've made another crustless quiche which I'll take a third of to work each night and I've fried off some turkey thigh meat and mixed it with veggies, spices and passata ready to go in the slow cooker in the morning :D

Well fingers crossed .. thanks hon ;). I think it looks like rather a lot of food in the night but that's when I'm usualy looking for stuff so we'll see how it goes :) xx

No Breakfast??? :copon:

Now then! We had this conversation last week so don't be 'at it'!!!! ;)

Coming down in the morning at 11.30am & having lunch an hour later is a bit different to dashing out of the house at 6.50am & doing a whole mornings work before eating anything, so :Na_Na_Na_Na: xx

:p x

Jan, I was drooling at the sound of all the lovely food you prepared today . I hope you get a better result for your efforts. You so deserve it.

Ah thanks Molly :D ... well if I don't it won't be for the want of trying! So fingers crossed! :) xx

Jan, I would never put any emphasis on the drinking, as I too as you know love a drink. But what about cutting down on the bars, chocs etc, and replacing these with maybe a boiled egg or something like that to snack on, which will set the metabolism up a bit faster with the protein. Just a thought hun.

Sorry about the STS.

It's a thought Mary, thanks for the suggestion :). Trouble is I'm trying to do it with things I like, I won't stick to it otherwise. We'll see what monday brings but I haven't got too many weeks to be messing about trying things out. I need to shift 10lbs!!!

Oddly, when I got up tonight I couldn't get my rings on. I'm guessing too many carbs - I had weetabix, cous cous and a wrap yesterday.. hmmmmm xx

 for leaving that alpen bar :(
Maybe the rings thing were because your hands were hot? Xxx

Reading that back what a dumb question, cuz your hands were hot lol x

Not necessarily dumb Tan - but you haven't been in my bedroom .... it's FREEZING!!! ;) so unlikely. I do feel bloated.

I could slap myself for leaving the alpen bar but even more so for forgetting the water. I drink 2x500ml bottles of sparkling every work night - I've only had a cup full of tap water tonight, it's really not nice here :( xx

Oh no thats a pain in the butt :( didn't realise you were a sparkling woman! xx

Got into sparkling whilst on LT - hated it before that. I only drink it at work now - at home I have still, dunno why really  ... not that I drink enough of it any more!!! I DO drink a lot in terms of coffee (black decaf so not too bad) though xx
