In my case Sandra it's not what's left rather how many I've gone over! Lol! Well I'll be finishing this week out as I am, see what the result is and then deciding how to proceed. The weeks are flying by though & still 8lb to shift :( xx
 
Sure is.....makes a lot of sense too, even to a load of old dieting pros like us! I like the science bit, normally you only get the calories cos, lbh, we don't really take that much notice of all the other nutritional crap, but this really brings it home.
 
I ended up with a lot more cals than the day before when I was drinking! Mind you I suppose there was an extra meal in there with being up all night. I'd saved some BNS soup for tonight (0pp) but as it added so many cals to my mfp total I told DH to have it for his lunch! On it's own it's not enough for me in the night. Let's see what today's total brings!

Saturday 5th February.

Bed

Tea - Tesco Light choice Beef in red wine sauce with colcannon mash (very nice if a little stingy on the beef) with cauli & broccoli 7pp

Sugar free jelly, meringue nest, a few blue&raspberries & ww yog 2pp

Work - Quorn stew left from last night 3pp, wrap 4pp, pkt snackajacks 2pp, fruit.

Breakie tomorrow - 2 weetabix etc 4pp (I KNOW I won't feel like cooking something like I did this morning so back to carbs :eek:)

Allowing for a snack in the morning as I have to stay up to go & see one of my grandson's on his birthday - won't kid myself that I won't have anything extra! Oaty bar 2pp

s/t 24pp ... on mfp that works out to 1224cals which is okay except I'm 20% over carbs allowance nearly 50% over protein allowance but OVER 50% short of fat allowance. :eek:

I am struggling to get the columns to add up as well Jan, but I am well over on the protein and under on the carbs, so quite happy with that.

Think I'm guns have a right goose at mfp when I get home.

I love how we all end up sorta doing the same thing around here :) dump bout you girls but I sure find it helps x

I've been trying to get to grips with it too but can figure it out :( Took me long enought to get the hang of counting WW points eek!!

Tea - ww shepherd's pie 6pp with brocolli & cauli

2 meringue nests, sugar free jelly, few berries, ww yog 3pp

Work - Ham salad wholemeal wrap with bit of el mayo 6pp, pkt snackajacks 2pp, fruit

Breakie in the morning - probably weetabix etc 4pp

s/t 21pp (mfp - 1140 cals, about right on protein, about 15% over on carbs but a massive 60% under my fat target - I knew I ate a low fat diet but didn't realise quite how low!)

MFP also says that if every day was like today in 5 weeks time I'll be 146.2lbs - trouble is in 5 weeks time I want to be 143lbs :( ... and I'm SO sick of people around me saying 'Don't know what your'e worried about it's only half a stone' .. AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!! YES AT THE MOMENT!!! BUT IT WON'T BE IF I DON'T GET RID OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally understand Jan! People can be so stupid sometimes!!! 7lbs might not seem like much to them but to us it can be :) xx

Exactly - that 7lbs soon creeps up to a stone, then a stone and a half. They/we think we are being nice by saying things like that.
 
Well I should be reporting my wi - truth is, yesterday when I got up - to cut a long story short I had a 'proper' weigh (not the jumping on the old scales upstairs jobbie) and had lost 1lb, hoped it might be a bit more today. Today when I come down to wi it's just 0.2lb ... :(. I'm thinking that COULD be because I had a (teensy) slivver of birthday cake this morning (my youngest baby is 26!! Can't believe it!) and I didn't have a full sleep. Thinking I might wi in the morning again and decide what to take as THE one when I see what that says ... :( bit fed up if I'm honest :sigh:

Ah Jan, this bloody ww ain't fun is it? We're getting obsessed:sigh:

I didn't weigh as I had to be at physio early....dunno why I'm bothering tbh, scales seem glued into position:mad:

It's a daughter - but she DOES like the girlies ;) LOL!!
