K Fairy finally landed yesterday! (day 6!) I wouldn't say I'm not getting hungry but it's NOTHING like it was thank goodness - thanks for all the good wishes

Mum came through fine thanks. Well enough now to be left on her own again. I'm surprised actually, she seemed so helpless yesterday afternoon and last night I didn't think she'd be back to 'normal' today. It's done something anyway because she can see the pattern on the wallpaper which previously looked like a plain wall - 1st time since it was put up in January. Fortunately she likes it . Time will tell how far the improvement goes. xx

Looking forward to wi tomorrow. I'm stressing (even though I KNOW it's ridiculous) because we've got workmen in and part of what they're doing in in the utility room where I normally keep my scales and get weighed. I can't possibly put them somewhere else now can I!!!!!! On the other hand I'm going to feel a right wally asking them to go away while I get them out and get weighed - and they'd have to go away coz I'm in me nightie .... stre-ess!! xx

Oh yeah and don't tell me to get up before they come and do it - there's no way I'm setting an alarm tomorrow - need a lie in, too much lost sleep and starting work tomorrow night xx

Welcome back! So glad ur mums op went well and seems successful!

Sorry but I'm sniggering at your scale dilemma!! It is funny how we get hung up on the scales being in exactly the same position - and one floor tile is not the same as another! However it is really!! Get hubby to weigh on scales now - then move them somewhere else and weigh him again! Then you've got a note of any difference!

:giggle: at your scale dilemma but we all know exactly what you mean!!! I have a specific way I put the scales and it has to match up against the squares on the floor and the toilet mat

How did it go getting John to weigh? Is there much difference? xxx

It took 3 goes to find a spot in the porch that weighs the same as out the back! 1lb difference (it would have been in my favour but that's cheating ) I have the tiles counted so I know where to put it

Of course DH now has it confirmed that we are all total loonies xx
