Just a quickie to report my lousy loss. I'm bitterly disappointed at -4.6lbs. I know what you're all going to say but I weighed this on Sunday so was expecting at least another couple of lbs. I could cry.

I got weighed on Sunday to give me the incentive to ride the hunger out and it did, but for the scales not to have moved since is just plain mean. AND I weighed in the normal location as the plasterer was working upstairs.

I'm sticking at it in the forlorn hope it may be a blip and I'll have a super loss this week.

On a positive note I DID have a good sleep. Off out now to sort my mother out - eye drops, shopping etc.

Oh yeah AND the whole house is covered in white dust because of the work ... JUST what I need to lift my mood. Dunno when the hell I'm gonna have a chance to do the proper clean that's gonna need.

Awww Jan! :hug99: you are right, you know what were all guna say ...it's a loss & it's in the right direction. Obv we know how you feel - what was your first week loss on lt last time? Remember you're much much lighter now so have less to lose. But that's a big chunk out of what you need to lose so well done chick :D

Got to agree with Tanya. Because you weigh nowhere near what you did when you did LT you aren't going to have huge losses. I know you know all this anyway, but please don't be disappointed. That is a great loss and I bet you are happy that you've dropped a large chunk of what you want to lose.

Keep up the great work!
 
Oh Jan - how gutting for you! But and it's a big huuuuge but, I do agree wity the others - that is a huge percentage of what ur after losing! Not any consolation for how u feel today tho ((hugs))) x

Ps: I do wonder if it's anything to do with late arrival of ketosis fairy! Be interesting to see next weeks losses bearing in mind, ur now in 'fat burning' mode...
 
Hi jan, I only lose 4lb last week 2 (tech my 1st week of restart) I know it can feel disheartening but I'm sure that ketosis will help now! 6 days seems a long time to get into ketosis - hopefully week 2 will be better for u all round x
 
Thanks guys .. I hear what you're saying and I'd agree with you if I hadn't weighed on Sunday. I'd lost the 4.6lbs by then so I've lost nothing for the second half of the week. It'd better be fluid or poo (sorry) retention which sorts itself out by next week or I won't be responsible.

I would normally expect something around the 3lbs mark next week - if I get that I will continue, however I REALLY think it should be that PLUS the rest of what I should have lost this week, which of course isn't going to happen as that would mean losing more in week 2 than week 1 which is unheard of.

Still miffed - can you tell? ;) xx
 
It isn't unheard of to lose more in week 2 than week 1. Several on the LT site have done just that! Low loss the first week and a bigger one the second.

I agree with the others, you are in fat burning mode now that ketosis has arrived and I bet you lose at least 3lbs next week.

Keep going and don't let your head drop, you've just lost a fifth of what you want to lose altogether and that aint bad!!

Looking at it like that I've actually lost over 25% of what I wanted to lose (16.6lbs) .. I think I feel a bit better :D Ta Missis! xx
 
There's always a silver lining Jan. You wouldn't have lost that much on an ordinary diet.

Also make sure you're drinking enough, you know that always helps!
 
Ah boo to the dusty workmen and boo to the disappointing loss. TFR is not easy at any time, least of all second time round. But you are equal to the task. See it all in a positive light. Its 4.6 lbs gone for good and 4.6 lbs nearer to target. Cherish each day as a day nearer to your goal. Head down, you are doing well.

Have to say though Bev this is the least I've lost in any 1st week on ANY diet. I lost the same amount back in December doing nothing special :eek: xx

Puts it into perspective but you have lost a big chunk of what you want to lose :) that's a call for a defo A+!!!!! :)

Nothing to report today. I had a lovely long sleep, 9.30 - 6.30 (not counting the turning over wakenings)

had a shake/mousse for breakie, soup for tea and have a bar with me at work.

OH I DO have something to report - September holiday all booked :D:D ... off to make a ticker :) xx

Aww I go on my 2nd on the 30th aug so you will be heading off 3days before I get home!!! It will soon be here!! :D

My first is exactly 4weeks after the 1/2mara so 10weeks&2days!!! 'cited!!!!!

How long you going for, 2weeks? Xxx
