Jayne sorry your having such a rough time! I know you wont slip but i know its tough!! stupid silly cravings! hope your shower is relaxing and you can get a good nights sleep. Like you said to me..tomorrow is a new day :)

keep at it hun! :) xx positive vibes :)

Thanks girls. Your support means so much to me :) xx

I was watching The Biggest Loser (US) whilst pampering myself with moisturiser after my shower, and was reminded of the week 2 curse! I'd forgotten about it, but recall now talking about it during my first round on Lipotrim. Week 2 is notoriously difficult on any diet. The body rebels! Some people don't lose any weight in week 2 and even can gain a little. Some have very small weight losses. On my first round I lost 10lb week one, and I think it was 2lb in week 2. The week itself can be really difficult to get through. So, with that in mind, roll on week 3! lol.

xx

I'm with you on that one, Jayne... Roll on week 3. Maybe if we all hope hard enough, it will come quicker? ;)

Doing well chick, keep it up

P xx

Just read back to the beginning of my diary - something I've not done since I wrote it - and discovered that day 8 first time around was a bit of a tough one for me too. Actually, it seems like it was all a lot tougher than it is this time so far! I also read that I lost 11lb in my first week last time and not 10 lol. Doing myself out of 1lb there! When I did Lighter Life in 2005, I lost 9lb in my first week. All with a starting weight of 19st something! *sigh*
Anyhow, I'm off to bed shortly :) STARVING! lol xx

Hi Jayne, I went to bed hungry last night too huni, roll on the end of the first week when the hunger goes away lol keep up the good work xx

Hi Jayne
Your doing absolutely brilliantly. I've been going through a bad patch and I've just read your diary - it's really given me the will go on. I really want to go on, but my body (mind more like it) has been rebelling, reading about your mental strength and ability to overcome the cravings has given me great inspiration to carry on. I want to get this strength back - I had it from September to Christmas, I'm just finding it a bit hard to find it again. Once again well done on the loss and roll on week 3!

Ssusee - Good to see you on here :) Sorry to hear you're having a hard time though :( Re-starts are not always easy. Keep coming on here for motivation when the going gets tough. We're all here for you ((hugs)). I know you can find the strength to get back on track. Ignore that naughty inner voice that is sabotaging you! Stay strong hun xx

Day 9

Much easier day today. Had a wobbly moment a couple of hours ago - smells of tea cooking setting me off with carb cravings again! Otherwise though, hunger has disappeared again :) Did my step class this morning and was absolutely fine energy wise. Cardio and stamina need more work though! lol.

Slept really well last night, despite going to bed hungry. Did wake early hours and was rumbling, but went straight back.

Got one more shake to have at about 9 and then hopefully another good night's sleep :)

xx

after all that exercise you'll sleep like a baby! :) glad youre on a positive one today even with the smells.... i am religiously telling myself that if i can smell it and i can practically taste it ,,then i dont need it... :) over and over in my head :) ...hoping for a full nights sleep for you:) xx

Thanks Pudge :) Have a bad rumbly tummy at the mo, so going to bed hungry again, but it's okay I guess lol
xx

Day 10

Was SO desperate for this morning to hurry up so I could have my shake. I was really hungry though the night and kept waking with a rumbly tum - well, woke about 3 times, but did go straight back off, so an ok night's sleep really. Obviously didn't want to drink lots of water during the night though. Tried my vanilla shake with coffee for the first time. So YUM! :) It's my new fave! Now need to go and get some peppermint tea, so I can mix with choc shake. Used to do that when I did Lighter Life years ago, but not done it with Lipotrim yet.

Body pump class and a run on the treadmill (I'm doing the couch to 5k programme) at the gym tonight. Love it! :)

xx

Glad you have found a different way to enjoy your shakes hun x x

Good luck at the gym x x

I am
Considering starting running (read as fast walking) I will need a goal though something to aim for, it's just a thought though!

When you mix coffee or peppermint tea with ya shakes do you leave it to cool completely? Or do you have the coffee and vanilla as a hot drink? My shaker would probably explode so I'd have to stir it in , might be like lumpy custard ;/

Well done Jayne on the running. I did it before Christmas and hope to get back to it when I can control my hunger pangs - hopefully in a week or so!

Hey,, heres hoping for a proper nights sleep tonight then hey! at least you didnt stay awake!... great job on getting into the exercise so early, i know you used to do it, but i couldnt face classes right now. walks are all the energy i have right now!

coffee and shake is seriously yummy! its the only way i can handle the vanilla, but im strictly on chocolate now as theyre my favourite!
good luck at the gym this evening :) X
