Well done on the sts, I think when we're on slimming world we don't need to give up anything for lent.... maybe rather then giving up hifi's you try to stick to plan 100% using your syns ect. throughout lent?

I'm not even doing that as we do have plans during lent and I also have some long runs so will have at least one off plan day (mothers day there is no way I'll manage to be on plan)

I agree that sounds much more achievable Donna, I think sometimes I put too many restrictions on myself and that's often when I go loopy!

Nail on the head Jenna!

I've called target at 8st 11lbs, as was fed up bouncing around with a couple of pounds! So Im going to see, by taking the pressure off & maintaining, if this will help. Psychologically it certainly has, as its only now I realise how much pressure I've been putting on myself & know its exercise that will get rid of those last few sticky pounds & it will only be me who can know the difference between 8.11 & 8.7, coz I doubt I will look any different!
Have you thought about trying to maintain for a bit to see how you get on, as you do put a lot of pressure on yourself :) x

I wish I could get my exercise mojo back but tbh I'm just not interested at the moment, hopefully when the better weather comes in I'll be more inspired but again I doubt it. Good call, Kim and you're right it is totally only us who can see a difference between 8st 11 and 8st 7 but I just can't let go of that target lol! If I keep bobbing around the same weight for the next few weeks I may end up calling target as it'll obv be a weight my body seems comfortable at...even if it means never owning a size 8 dress fml! lol!

I bet your mainly a size 8 though arent you? just a certain part of your top half which im very jealous of stoppin you get into size 8's?

Ive completely lost my mojo, just caved at a kids party and eaten loads of rubbish :( hoping my running does counteract it... but we'll see, no chocolate for me tonight though :(

Sorry to be snooping in again but i am so impressed with your weight loss and its giving me the encouragement to stick at it! I was 10.4 in sept and 12 now i really want this to work! Am writing my food diary down just feel like i am getting nowhere!!! Did anyone find when exercising at first they didn't loose? Xx

The 9s to 8s thread might be a good place to ask about exercise as I'd say Kim and Donna check it slightly more regularly and they are exercise fiends. I can't say when I went through a brief period of exercising that it made any difference to my losses.

Just don't beat yourself up if they go up from day to day! It takes 3500 calories to gain 1lb and 3500 to lose it, which is very unlikely to happen in 24 hours. And remember, a pint of water is 1lb and a quarter so if you've had more to drink or your body is retaining water then it can make big changes from one day to the next - and it'll disappear just as easily! As long as it keeps you focused rather than making you pressure yourself so much that you go off plan, go for it!

Jenna, I called target last week & lost 0.5lbs this week! I followed EE, had 2 days where I had an extra hexb & had 92 syns for the week! Psychologically i feel so much better & i didnt feel particularly stressed with it all, but it proved this week I must have been ,,as feel so much more chilled with it all.
So as i said on a previous post, my advice to you would be to call target as well & see how you get on for a few weeks. It would be good to compare notes. Try mixing up your meals as i reckon that would help as well. Thats why I've switched to EE as i rarely did it.
Hope you come to a decision that makes you happy x

I think calling target will be a good idea, take a lot of stress off you and also if you start loosing again or feel like your in a place to start trying you can always lower it again.

Well I think it's safe to say I'm a binge eater now. Oops.
However I fully intend on getting back on track as now (I'm aware I sound like one of those alcoholics who claims to have had their last drink)
I think my main probem is I spend all day thinking about food, I need to find a way to break this.
I feel and look bloated and the scales are showing a BIG number that I haven't seen in a while. I need to do this
