Jenni's diary: Given up chocolate!

Waiting on a call from the counsellor - eek! - I'm going to see Jon this weekend and I'll start after that, so it'll be my last drunken night out for at least a month!

I can't wait to start. Yes, it's an inconvenient diet, but it'll be worth it in the end, and I'm an impatient person :p:
Can't wait for my parents' reaction at christmas :D hehehe.

Meeting tomorrow, eek! Still excited about starting. Got to use up all my fresh food tomorrow though, which consists of an egg and some fresh pasta. Going to have an awful headache for the first few days! Shall try one of my off shakes tomorrow too, see if they're edible.

Getting a bit of ye olde depression sneaking in at the moment. Dunno where it's come from, think I've just been getting a bit existential recently. Had a really good chat with Jon last night at about 4am, which seems to have just dredged up a load of stuff I don't want to think about and articulated it into stuff I can worry about. Woohoo.

*big hugs* are you still seeing your councelor? If not maybe you should find one in London.

Good luck, you've done it before so you know you can do it again :) Can you have painkillers?

Thanks :) I'm thinking I might see what the student counselling is like at imperial - hey, it's free :p: I'm going to wait a week or so first though. I'm joining an OCD support group down here next week so I'll see how that goes too.

I'm not seeing anyone at the moment, obviously everything I had was back in Hull. I am going back to my therapist for a catch up at christmas though so might chat to him about it then. :)

Dunno about painkillers - probably, but I think they generally recommend just drinking more water. I seem to remember last time I just slept it off! :p: I know I can do it, and my head is in a better place this time too :)

Both of us had them, but he was the only one who woke up in time ;) going to get myself a much needed early night tonight!

Going to have an egg :)rolleyes:) for lunch, may have one of my CD shakes with it too.

Got my meeting later, really looking forward to it :D

Goodluck with your diet Jenni x

Thanks :D

I'm going to aim for no cheating at all, though of course there will be those times when I can't resist a coke zero ;) I remember last time I ate 2 hotdogs at the end of my first week  though I didn't eat the baguettes so it was fine really :p

I'm going to make sure that if I cheat, I eat either protein or veg, nothing with carbs in.

I'm going to aim for 4 litres of water a day, but will make sure I get at least the minimum.

I'm going to try to remember my fibresure  I certainly remember last time!

I'm going to fit into those size 10 jeans! ;)

OK, so, first weigh in - 11st 6 - score! :bliss:
Thought I was at least 11st 7/8.

Measurements:

Waist 39
Hips 40
Chest 39
Arm 12
Thigh 22

I'm appalled at how bad my W/H ratio is - almost 1! I'm not half an apple shape.

I've got every single variety of shake to try (minus the strawberry tetra, I KNOW I didn't like that.)

Looking forward to it! :) Shocking that I might be able to see a 10 on the scales next week, it's certainly motivating me to drink 3-4L every day! Might do a little bit of walking too, though it's hardly like I sit on my bum all day to be fair.

Would love to see a 10 next week. I'll try not to get my hopes up though ;)

I'm sure a bit of coke zero should be fine chic, really don't know how you stick it- really don't think I'd last a day! :) x

Hehe. The first few days need real willpower, but after that it's fine because you're in ketosis. :)

Ketosis is easier to stay in than to get into, so need to be really good for the first week or two until it's well established. :)

Just having my last can of diet coke for the next month or two

Well, first day almost over. :D

Tiny tiny blip, I had a miniature piece of beef, but it won't so any harm so I'm OK with it.

I went to Sainsburys tonight and they have B&Js ice cream on BOGOF  so I have bought myself 2 tubs since they don't go off until 2011 ;)
Apart from that it was gelatine, colouring and bouillon - how exciting ;)

Off to have my last shake - non-lactose-free chocolate! Mmmm mmmmm.

Well done on day 1 Jenni x

Well done for surviving day 1 keep it up. xx
