JessyG's food diary - positive and determined to shift the bulge

I think the new mag is definitely worth a buy - some really good recipes! and a free little book with even more recipes in! I want to mix up my meals more a bit this year so i'm hoping i can use a few from those.

That sounds like a positive outlook for the new year :) and I am sure that you will make the most of everything!

We will do this this year! i am feeling so determined (whilst sat eating a sandwich and off to buy some chocolate soon .... haha(

Hi Jessy! I will regularly be back to your diary for inspiration! We still have so much naughtiness in the house from over Xmas that I don't know how to resist it but am determined to try.... We have a few tins of biscuits, sweets, cheese, crackers... Oh god! Keep me on the straight and narrow ladies! Determined to stay within target range for 2014! It feels like so much pressure though! Also, I adore the sw mag! Couldn't do without it!

Yeah Tash I need the mag for new recipe inspirations - taken lots from it for this week's shop!

It really is worth getting especially as it comes with a little book of recipes too.

I've got to be organised or I go off plan; don't get in from gym until half 7ish and if not at gym I usually work a bit later so don't get my evenings without planning :)

Yay wonderful news about the cava :) xxxx

Woo so you can have 2 glasses instead! :) You are super organised indeed lady!! V impressed! I need to get back to the gym too...havent been once since I renewed my membership back in Sept! Oops! Xx

Woohoo 2 glasses ;) let's hope I can stop there!

Wow! How are you that organised!? So impressed and inspired!! Need to try this!! xx

I just have to be if I want to be on plan; I'm hoping this organisation will keep me on track. I have never managed to stay on plan 100% for a week before. DETERMINED to do it this week and then every (well, most) weeks!

Weigh in this morning: 11 stone :) so +4lb since Christmas weigh in and +5lb from my lowest slimming world weight! So here we go back into the 10s!

Hungry thinking about my food so looking forward to getting to work to eat haha

Hope everyone's Monday on plan goes to plan!

xxxx

You'll be back in the 10s next week honey, don't you worry. We're all in such a good place at the moment, I'm sure the lbs will be dropping off :) xx

Food was delist today ladies! It came in at 12 syns though as we only had lean mince! Feels weird counting syns when it doesn't feel like I've had anything naughty!

I'd 100% recommend the Parpadelle All'Amatriciana & and the Singapore beef! New staple meals for us!

I made it to the gym too which was a success :)

Feeling a bit peckish (not sure how) so gonna have a cuppa and then some grapes if needs be!

Hope everyone's Monday has been on plan :)

Tbf i stayed at work a bit later than planned so had a quick gym sesh really: 1/2 hour on cross trainer at different resistances, 5 mins on treadmill, 500m on rower (2.5 mins lol), 3 reps of 12 on leg press and 3 reps of 10 on lat machine. So not loads but it's knackered me enough haha.

I can't blame you not doing it and tbf it is rest day on your plan! Valid reason methinks!

So hard resisting chocolate .... :/ xxxx

Pleased to say I stayed on plan yesterday and was brutally honest to myself about potential syns in oil sauce etc. I don't usually measure sauce but I did yesterday.

Although I didn't have time to weigh my cereal this morning so had to take a guess!

Today is rest day from the gym so we are cooking a paella for tea and tidying the house (it is a mess ATM from Christmas - I need to unpack all our prezzies).

Looking forward to my chicken noodle lunch today lots of fresh crispy veg in it so should be very good for me! :)

Hope everyone has a good day xxxx

Ladies I feel like I had a SW moment! I was in town on my lunch break and craving a yummy starbucks, but instead I went to sainsburys and bought some coffee which is a) cheaper b) will last ages, and c) SW FREE :D
