Jumping to JUDDD to get me to goal, and beyond!

Day 18 - UD

7.00am - coffee with milk
9.00am - 4 x buttered oatcakes and 1 x toasted pitta bread with butter bean dip
11.00am - fruit and Greek yoghurt combo
2.000pm - 1 x chicken goujon smeared with tsp of FF mayo; half bar of chocolate
4.00pm - toasted pitta with butter bean dip
8.00pm - chicken breast with salad including lettuce, tomatoes, few slices of chorizo, few cubes of dolcelatte, mushrooms; large slice of carrot cake
9.00pm - Bueno bar

The thing I find most frustrating about UDs is the things you were craving on your DDs you don't want anymore. It was lovely here today; definitely not pie and chips weather. Nor did I feel like scampi anymore. Ended up having a picky day during the day which mainly consisted of carbs in some shape or form and my delicious BB dip. James wanted fajitas for tea but I didn't. I didn't know what I fancied so I had a salad and just cooked myself a chicken breast to go with it. I enjoyed it but it wasn't what I was dying to eat. I really want my UDs to feature food I REALLY want. I find it frustrating to be staring into the fridge and thinking nah, nah, nah when 24 hours previously I was desperate to eat something specific. Am I being unrealistic and a tad diva-ish?

All that talk of cake meant that when I was in Lidl earlier and spotted a carrot cake I bought it. It's only small and I've eaten 1/3 of it tonight. It's not as nice as the one I bake. Then I had the Bueno bar because it was the last one in the house and I wanted it gone - I could have put it in the bin but I put it in the other bin i.e. my mouth!!

Overall, not a bad UD, but still too many treats and the Bueno bar was completely unnecessary and just piggish. In truth, though, I could easily have not eaten anything after my yoghurt at 11am until my evening meal at 8pm as wasn't really hungry and was eating because IT WAS MY UD AND I CAN'T EAT TOMORROW so I was desperate to make the most of it!!!

Last DD of the week tomorrow. Watching 'Fat: The Fight of My Life' on Pick. Puts my own weight issues into perspective but OMG, Jessie Pavelka, the US fitness coach that takes them under his wing for the year, is gorgeous. :heartpump:
 
Cheesecake - now that's the future!! Or is that garlic bread??? ;)
 
Hi Cate. How well are you doing! I think I might look into doing JUDDD if I ever get down to 10 stone.

You're doing well cate. And I think that's the point of JUDD - you actually eat less on your up days. Only eat what you want and if you're hungry, don't think you have to eat because it's an up day!

I'm trying to eat whatever I fancy. And if I truly listen to my body I find I'm not eating as much, and not eating too much crap too often either. I think it's my head that craves chocolate etc, not my body.
 
Just had one of those reality checks. My friend has posted some photos from her dad's 70th on FB. It was one of those situations where I thought I looked OK going out, if not slim exactly. However, looking at the photos has brought me face-to-face with the true facts once again. I'm still only a tad under 15st which is 4st heavier that I should be for a healthy BMI and it shows!! My only consolation is that I dread to think what I'd have looked like at 17st 2lbs!! No room for complacency.

Just having my first shake of the day. Have a good one everyone. :)
 
I do that all the time... Think I'm doing ok, then see a pic!

Keeps us going eh! Uv lost loads of weight so u deserve a pat on the back for that.

It's happened again. Just caught David Jason tucking into a fry up as DI Frost on the TV. Really want one - eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, black pudding, hash browns, beans, toast. Yum. What's the betting I don't want it tomorrow? :rolleyes:

Ha! It's funny isn't it. Just proves that it's a fleeting thing :) x
 
Day 19 - DD

9.00am - Exante shake
11.00am - coffee with milk
3.00pm - coffee with milk
7.00pm - Exante shake
8.00pm - Coke Zero

Well, it's 6.10pm now and that's my day (or it will be). Just got back from taking mum to Morrison's and have bought black pudding and sausages for a fry up in the morning. Will I still want it? I'll have to wait and see. Also bought a bag of scampi so am ready to go if the urge hits for that too. Food tomorrow. (Sighs with relief.) :D
