Kat1e's Diary - 7 years low carb - still learning!

Its lush!

Morning Katie, did the G&T's go to your head? i was a total lightweight on Induction. Talk about cheap drunk. LOL.

Yes definitely - also didnt have enough water so ended up with a low grade headache all morning. Will know better next time!

Hi Katie... I'm yet to find a flavour that I don't like with the shakes. Choc is my fave, its not sweet but tastes like choc if that makes sense. x
Goody - I know what will be on my next order......;)

Off for a long weekend to Isle of Wight this weekend, so suddenly in a panic. Got early start tomorrow and out late dancing. Then friday got lots of work calls and want to rush out dancing at lunchtime, then jump into car for ferry. Hey ho - just need to write some lists and give them to DH methinks;)

Anyhow, good day today.
B bacon & eggs
L roast pork and red cabbage in the canteen today(yum) I did have to avoid the apple sauce that was already on the plate. Plus salad
D barbequed lamb, grilled courgette, spinach
S mini pepperami, slice flax bread and artichoke/parmesan dip

w just enough
e unexpectedly walking fast from oxford street to piccadilly circus when they shut the tube & I was aiming to catch a train...
a no - but it was close:D

Morning Katie, don't think I've ever been to the isle of wight, enjoy love

Morning all

Had a bizzare moment earlier

Trying to choose what to wear
Put on favorite pretty shirt
Its too baggy
Moaned at DH "none of my shirts fit" and for a moment there was actually grumpy!
DH laughed at me

Got over it now and planning a little shopping trip for some smaller shirts next week

:D:D

HI ya I love the IoW, I used to go on holiday as a child there virtually every year!!! I can't help thinking what has changed over there. Look forward to hearing about your trip Katie...hope you have a fab time

;) xx

I just remembered the bus spotters at the bus station. I sat outside a bar with a friend absolutely in fits watching them with their note books lol. No offence to anyone who does it but we'd never seen it before!

Hi all, lunch time catch up today :)

Yes love the IOW - best in summer though. We are only going for a long weekend and the forecast is for rain the whole time:( I am planning to take lots of books and try to get a bit of relaxing reading in. We are with my parents in our family holiday place - so hopefully they will entertain DD somewhat! Mr BBC will probably do a good job too :D (frankly after the hugely long first half of term I think she needs some chill time too!)

xx

Enjoy your break Katie - personally I hate the IOW but that's because I had my worst ever holiday there. My boyfriend at the time was supposed to come but had to pull out (stop it) at the last minute because of work, so I went anyway. 5 mins after arriving, got pushed in the gutter by some horrible youths, everything was closed, and two days later I broke my toe on the bath tap - so cut it short and went home :)

So now I restrict myself to Europe :)

to pull out (stop it)
i would never have thought until you write pmsl!

omg suze! you are calamity Jane!

So many IOW stories - I've never been. Been to Portsmouth though isn't that sort of close? ;)

Sorry the forecast is for rain Katie. Sometimes staying in and being pampered a bit can be nice though?

Susie you have to expand on that one I fear. Possibly with diagrams. How on earth could you break a toe on a bath tap?

Katie, hope you have a lovely time despite the weather. And you never know, forecasts can be way out sometimes. :)

You'd think bus spotters on an Island would have a very limited target group Lisa. Amazing what passes the time for some folks though. Nowt as queer and all that. I could see it being VERY funny once you'd had a couple of drinks too. :)

The OH at the time booked a holiday cottage, told me it was luxurious (it wasn't), told me it was close to the beach (nah) and said it had all mod cons (so not).

What eventuated was a damp smelling old home with an old bath and no shower. Sooo I'm having a bath with the 3 cms of hot water I could get out of the antiquated boiler, stand up to get out, slip on the soap and bam, up flies my big toe right up to the tap....

Only you Susie, only you!!!!!!!!!!!!

My IOW story is being there when Ellen MacArthur did her round the world solo job - sailed past where she has worked on some of her boats in the past - she is one of my heroines :D
