Weather pretty grey today but need to get DD out doing something - have found a petting farm which also has play area, zip wire etc. We'll give that a go although i hope it isn't too touristy (shudder!)

Also working on the camping packing list - think we have most bits and we will pack when we get home friday afternoon. That still leaves us saturday to visit the pound shop and millets for emergency purchases!

See you all later

Morning Katie, it's overcast but warm here

Morning Jim. Sunshine and blue sky always makes me happier though....except when it gets too hot! :D

Menus sound really good Katie! A really measured and mature approach to increasing carbs! :)

Morning Katie love, it's grey and warm here again, it'd be nice to see some sun

Good morning all:). Sun is finally shining and heading to the beach shortly:D

Lol Bren!

Anyhow, the beach was ok - DD played happily for 3 hours in the sand while i read and tried to ignore all the other 'orrile kids there lol:D unfortunately she was then tired, hungry and threw a tantrum about the fact she was covered in sand?!

Finally dragged her moaning up the hill back to house and then unfortunately a wasp got caught in her hair and she got stung on the side of her face. Luckily not badly and she hasnt reacted but will not help her already fairly paranoid view of insects!!!:(

Hey ho - at least the sun shone:D have to get up early tomorrow to pack and then head home. Will be nice to see the cats;)

Sounds like a lovely day by the sea... I hate wasps too - nasty critters!!

Safe journey home Katie!

Di x

Hope the journey home is uneventful, Katie - and sorry about the sting, I guess it happens to us all, but mummies make it all better :)

Morning Katie, you're probably on your way back by now. Have a good trip love

Morning all - everythings packed up and just waiting for the last tea towels to dry and then off in 10 mins....just time to pop onto minimins:)
See you later

Lisa - i am aiming for glamping - will see how it goes as DH already moaning that it wont fit in the car:D
