Kirsty's pregnancy and new Mummy diary- from 30 weeks onwards!

Ha ha!!
I wanted that changing bag but we got a unisex red one so that Paul can take changing bag out etc. love the pink lining blooming gorgeous ones though, x
My Paul doesn't mind carrying the changing bag, it was the one I wanted so he knew it wasn't worth arguing about lol!

Another decent night from Oliver-
He stayed up to watch the football with daddy :) in bed by 11:30, and up at 2:15, took 5oz, back asleep by 3:30 (he really took his time with this bottle!) and awake again at 6:15. Took 5oz and back asleep by 7:30 after some cuddles :)
Currently still asleep, hoping he'll be awake soon for another bottle as we are going to MIL's for lunch and to deliver Father's Day presents and I want to time it so he'll sleep!!
Won't make it into town today, shall do it another time.
Got friends over tomorrow for a visit, can't wait :) x

Have had a really lovely day- went to MIL's for lunch and got to see hubby's grandparents too.
It was lovely sitting outside with everyone cooing over Oliver :)
Went for a nice walk with hubby, dogs and son :)
Got friends over tomorrow, can't wait :)
Hubby is taking friends hubby to the pub whilst we have a catch up and cuddles with Oliver.
Then a nice Indian in the evening :) x

Sounds lovely few days and that Oliver is getting into a good routine. X
Yeh he still gets a bit unsettled at times, but I think that's down to the heat.
For the last 3 nights he's only woken once for milk which is just fab! X

Another good night- watched football with daddy, in bed by 12, awake at 2:30 for milk, I don't know what time he went back down as hubby was doing that feed and I fell back asleep!
He woke again at 7 for milk, fed and changed and he was back asleep by 8, still asleep now.
Hubby is still asleep too, so I thought I'd get up and be productive by putting the washing machine on, sterilising bottles and general tidying up, oh and breakfast!
As they say 'nap time is mum's most productive time'- couldn't agree more!
Hubby is picking up our friends from the station just before 12- can't wait to see them!
They live in Belgium- she's my best friend, we began as pen friends about 18 years ago and we've been buddies ever since :)
We was also each other's bridesmaids :)
Once hubby has brought them here, we will be having a bit of lunch, then hubby and friends hubby are going to the pub!
Whilst me, my friend, Oliver and the dogs shall be staying at home, got a nice bottle of bubbly in the fridge for us :)
Then we'll be having an Indian takeaway for dinner and a few drinks before they get the train back to London.
Hubby wants to watch the England game so I've told him I'll be having an early night and he can look after Oliver :)
Tomorrow is Father's Day- hubby's first one!
Both of our dad's are away so it'll be just the 3 of us spending the day together :) x

Aw thats lovely just the three of you it can be hard stretching you time over two families and trying to enjoy the day yourselves x

What a lovely day :)
Had a lovely catch up with my friend, she got lots of Oliver cuddles too :)
Our husbands went to the pub and behaved themselves (as in they didn't get drunk!!) then we ordered an Indian takeaway which was scrumptious as always :)
Hubby is trying to stay up for the England match so I'm now about to go to bed to try and catch up on my sleep- good thing is Oliver is still asleep and hasn't had his last feed, he should be awake soon (his last one was at 7) but it means he'll go 4 hours until he wants another so I'm looking at 4-5 hours uninterrupted sleep (as long as he settles after his feed!) yay!
I'm secretly hoping he'll want his next feed just as hubby is coming to bed so that he'll do that one as well and then I can sleep until like 6/7 when he has his next one! Fingers crossed!
Anyway I'm very tired so bedtime for me x

For the first time ever, I'm not sure when Oliver was fed last night as I slept from 11-7 whoop!!
Hubby is still asleep so haven't been able to ask him yet and Oliver had a feed at 8:30 and is currently asleep!
Letting hubby sleep in as it would have been a late night for him as he was watching the football (well I assume he did!), going to make him breakfast in bed as its Father's Day and Oliver has got to give him his present :)
No plans for today so guessing a nice lazy day, maybe with a walk with the dogs and Oliver in there somewhere :) x

Lol first 8 hours straight sleep I've had in a very long time!!
Turns out Oliver didn't wake up for milk until half 12 (last feed before that was 7!) then in bed by half 1 and didn't wake up again until 4:45!
We've been very lucky with Oliver and sleep- I'm under no illusions tho that it'll change!
Thanks I love lazy Sundays :) x

Sounds like you had a well deserved nights sleep Kirsty :D it means you will be able to get through today without feeling to knackered lol x

Thanks, that was hubby's idea- he said it'll make Oliver a cool dude :) x

Despite the 8 hour sleep on Saturday night, I still felt knackered yesterday lol!
Imagine it's just my body getting over the trauma of labour- I sometimes forget that I only gave birth 3 weeks ago!
Oliver had a so- so night- fed at 11:30, in bed by 12:30, awake at 3:45 for milk (so far so good!) but he wouldn't settle after it, took until 6 to get him back to sleep
He woke at 8 for more milk and is thankfully asleep still!! X

Oliver kept up with his good boy routine today :)
Fed at 12, then slept whilst I went for my physio appt, in fact he slept through it, the bus journey and we almost made it all the way round Tesco before he woke and cried for food!
Got home and fed him at 3:45 and then he went straight back to sleep and didn't wake against until 7!
It meant I got some time with hubby when he got home from work at 5, plus we had dinner, washed up, fed animals all in peace and quiet :)
Fed and bathed Oliver, and then went for a walk with him and the dogs.
He instantly fell asleep in the pram and stayed like that and only woke up at 10:45 for last feed, which hubby is now doing.
It seems Oliver is getting himself into a routine of feeding every 3.5-4 hours which is just fab :)
Tomorrow we have to pop to the bank and pets at home and the rest of the day will be doing housework and chilling out!

Sounds like this Oliver loves his sleep. It's good that he is getting in a little routine. Makes it easier for you to plan your day. Hope you are all sleeping well now x
