i lost 2 lb and have finally got my 1 stone award!

its taken a while but i got here! im sooooo over the moon.

i put on a bit over xmas everyone thought i was daft starting a diet so near to xmas but i've proved them all wrong and no doubt if i'd have waited till new yr i would not be in the 17's...

my next aim is my club 10 which is 16 stone 12

so have 12lb to lose to get that ... bring it on is all i can say!!!

new book was out @ class last night, got lots of lovely recipes to make
lots of reading, there's also a story at the back about a bloke wholost 15 stone he went to a class near me...everyone's been talking about him...

have made a thread on main sw forum, am contemplating joining a gym anyone any advice am i too big?xxx

Well done on the loss Hun....you are never to big to join a gym and if you get someone to show you the ropes and the equipment properly the weight will fly off in no time.
 
Thanks mrs v, after my replies today i plucked up the courage to call the gym . I've decided to join and my induction is Tuesday.!
Im very happy now and am quite excited about my future!
I've got a good deal (i think)... off peak £24.99 a month thats the use of the pool, gym and all the classes....
i have a couple of full days off during the week so it's ideal for me plus i am a little embarrased so hoping that it wont be that busy!

I've ordered sum new trainers, and i've spent all evening hunting for a decent sports bra! Anyone have any idea's?

Well done on joining the gym. you will love it!! all them endorphine things flowing through ya!! lol.

Shock absorbers are good. go to TK max they are only about 6 quid in there. if you go to debenhams or somewhere they are about £20!!

I'd also recommend the 'shock absorber' for sport - I've just got one, just starting to try a little treadmill running and they work a treat, everything stays where it should!
Well done you for joining the gym. Don't feel self-conscious when you go, everyone else is far to busy worrying what they look like to be looking at other people! I've just jacked in my gym membership - it was £30 a month and I wasn't going much and when I did I generally just went on the treadmill anyway, so I've cancelled it and bought a treadmill which will pay for itself within a year with the money saved from gym, and my daughter can use it as well so her gym fees are saved too. I only got it Tues and I've been on it Tues, Weds, Thurs and today!
So good luck with the exercise, you'll soon feel loads better and it might be the thing you need to stir up your losses as well.

how much do they cost?
I got an exercise bike but hardly ever go on it and it's actually in the shed right now lol.
I got myself measured and i've actually lost 6 inches around my back...for sum reason it didnt occur to me that after losing 4 stone my boobs/back would be smaller.
I now can actually fit into Marks & Spencer bras. Be it the biggest size they make i can now buy a £12 bra instead of a £30 one. I feel great when i look in the mirror now, fits perfect.
I've managed to order a sports bra from my catalogue so im hoping that'll turn up in time for Tuesday!
Had a busy morning went shopping and now am relaxing watching tv before i start doing the lamb shanks for dinner tonight.

012.jpgyum i have just had the best dinner. Lamb shank in mint gravy which was free jacket spud and brocolli and cauliflower... yum it looked and smelt sooo lovely i thought id put a picture on
 
hey it was just one from sainsburys in the freezer department. They were free on red so i thought i'd try. Had lots of meat on it was very tasty
