No my husband did so will ask him for the recipe later

The pie bit I know he made using a packet of shortcrust pastry mix that you add water to and he put it on top. It was underneath or round the sides just a pie crust topping

No unfortunately not despite taking the cough mixture

I feel worse then ever. The cough is horrible. I had ear ache during the night due to my throat being swollen and still no voice.

I've had a Google and I'm pretty certain its viral which they don't give antibiotics for so will just see how it goes this week

Oh my hubbie wishes I would lose my voice Jaffa but I can imagine how annoying it would be and I bet its sore too! Keep the healthy eating, plenty of fluid and if it gets worse then a trip to drs would be vital earlier than Wednesday!

Well I have rather a soft voice which Joseph often complains he can't hear what I'm saying...lol. I've asked rather he'd rather I shouted like a fish-wife...?? lol.

My husband is also softly spoken which drives me mad sometimes

It is very sore and infuriating Donna and it hurts to talk as I really have to force the words out when I speak

He didn't make it he uses a packet shortcrust pastry mix which you add water to and roll out.
You can get the mixes where the flour is etc

Thank you both. Yes I'm home today and I slept ok last night but I feel whoozy this morning as I think I took a bit too much night cough mixture !!

Voice still gone but it is starting to come back thank goodness

Weather is atrocious here at the moment so no real plans today

Maybe best to stay in the warm? We seem to be dry here but dull...Joseph's just taken the car in for the MOT work. It's going to take 1 1/2hrs so he's walking home for a while.
