Yes by husband seems to think it's a good idea to see someone new for a change as I have to go every 8 weeks for my medication as I can't get it on repeat as it isn only given if my 3 monthly blood tests are okn

Gosh, that's a nuisance, but obviously essential, to make sure that it isn't causing any adverse affects.

It is way better then going to the hospital as that would cost me between £4 to £6 a month at least and the Dr's and health centre has free parking

I agree about seeing the locum...I've come across some very good ones in my time. I find they read through your history and actually listen and seem more proactive when required. I know you'll keep us posted Jaffa.

How do you cook the rice pancakes? They look nice.

My husband baked them in the oven. You need to use two pancakes for each roll.
We got them in a pack of 50 or so from the Chinese supermarket.
You cook the stir fried veg first soak the pancakes one at a time in water to soften just for a few seconds or they disintegrate add the filling roll stick on a baking sheet and bake

The rice pancakes are about 15 to 20 calories each so yes 1 syn each skin

Well weigh in was upsetting this is the most I have weighed in weeks so a definite gain this week when I get weighed later

I think some of it is down to the noodles as I know I haven't been 2lbs weight gain bad

Bit of a dilemma there Jaffa...you could choose not to weigh or face the scales and see. You have been surprised before!

It was just home weigh in SW is tonight but as Janet says I could choose not to weigh however I know I am not at class next week as I'm at the theatre

Serves me right I just got all panicky about my gp appointment and weigh in and just grabbed sugar and carbs

It is probably only 15 syns as 2 creams are 4.5 syns and the crisps were 4 syns for 1 bag and 5 syns for the other

Dr wants me to have loads more blood tests but it is probably stress as anemia is negative but I need to have thyroid etc done just in case

Weigh in exactly as expected 2 lbs on which 0.5lbs over targets so shouldn't really moan

I'm sure the blood tests will give some clues to help find some answers. Do you usually have thyroid issues?

That's right Jaffa...we have to be content to at least stay within our target range. That was my mantra last week after my 1.5 gain. Well done for braving the scales!
