I like my filter coffee with soya cream in the evening . I don't syn the cream which I should but I never have done and I don't really have my hex a so I'm not that bothered for 1 or 1.5 syns
Wouldn't think the syn value makes any difference if you've always used it. I do like the smell of coffee but haven't had any since 1974. Just went right off the taste when I had my son.
Well no gym today as I woke up with another headache and couldn't face it.
I did walk to Tesco picked up potatoes carrots brocolli and cauliflower plus a 2 litre bottle of sugar free fizz and carried it all back
And I will walk back again with my husband later to pick up milk and frozen peas for him.
Scales still in wrong kilo bracket but down from Tuesday
Hope that headache passes soon. Well that was some strength training carrying the shopping and walking is always good. I've just come back from the town but as we park in Morrison's carpark it's a bit of a hike to the shops. My grandson passed his driving test yesterday so got him a card etc. I needed fresh veggies too. What sort of sugar free fizz do you drink? I get the ginger beer...a drink of that keeps me going while I cook lunch!
I have got ginger beer on the go at the moment but today I got Tescos version of sugar free 7 up /sprite as I fancied that. They also a do a sugar free fizzy mango one which I also like.
We usually have diet pepsi or diet coke in the fridge as well depending what's on offer.
Or just plain old fizzy water with squash
Oh I have a story about Diet Pepsi...!! When I was 15 I started drinking cocoa cola in coffee bars. Later I decided it probably wasn't good for my teeth with all the sugar so bought a can of what was probably the first sugar free cola drink...called "Tab". Boy that stuff was disgusting but I drank it. Later of course many came on the market and I finally decided that Diet Pepsi was my favourite. Diet Cocoa Cola gave me pains in the stomach. Believe me that was all I was drinking, morning, noon & night...never water. I went on like that until 2004. I even managed to get some when we went on trips to Africa!! We were in the States in 2004 and one restaurant only had Diet Cola so I drank that and my back tooth began hurting! I blame the drink but who knows...I ended up losing that tooth and decided I'd better stop drinking Diet Pepsi too. Like a reformed character I've always felt I couldn't trust myself to drink it ever again.
I cut down a lot from 2 litres a day to a rare glass here and there at home but it's my treat drink when I'm out.
I don't drink fizzy drinks daily most of the time I have sugar free cartons like ribena
Yes like all diets sugar free fizzy drinks are encouraged unfortunately
During the day I drink water and no added sugar squash plus maybe 1 tea and 1 coffee it is only at home I might have a glass of fizzy and only really when I'm out I'll have a diet coke or Pepsi.
Oh and when I'm abroad I will drink diet coke or Pepsi every day especially on all inc so I don't have the sugar laden alcohol free cocktails or real cocktails
I really am wishing my life away at the moment as I am counting down the hours till I finish work as we are both off Monday and Tuesday and I am looking forward to it so much
No eating out today we sorted out what we are eating etc on the walk to Tesco and decided on home made pizzas for dinner so I've just taken the dough I made a few weeks ago out of the freezer.
Bed been stripped and bedding washed so I've just put it on the heated airer.
