Ugh scales are so unpredictable!! I just eat basic and drink 'loads' of plain water...it seems to flush all the bloat out of me!
2nd ugh...bosses eh? Maybe try reminding him how cold it is in the UK and make him wish he'd gone away to sunnier climes? There's always next year...

Oh he's going away tomorrow with his wife till Saturday so just today to get through

So cold in the office as I switched the heating off not knowing about the cold snap and it takes 24 hours to heat up as it's overnight storage heaters

Nope in work tomorrow as well even though he's not in then off till next Monday.
I have to be in next Monday as he's back so will need admin support while he catches up

Well it wasn't too bad my boss let me go at 1.30 so I picked my mum up took her shopping and I'll spend the rest of the day setting up her new laptop and printer as hers have died after 8 or 10 years.

My husband will come over later to sort out my mess !!

He works in IT so I should b l o o d y well think so - lol and he has a computer science degree albeit from 1993
But yes it is his area of expertise

Unfortunately he also has to superglue my boot handle back onto my car as I pulled the whole thing off this morning trying to open the boot - stupid ice
It's apparently a design fault with Nissan but it's out of warranty

And he has to shave an inch or so off my mum's worktop so her new oven will fit

He is very good doing all this as it's what my father was good at and since he died my husband does all the jobs I can't do for my mum and me

My dad used to do my tyres oil and water !! I can do my oil and water now but my husband checks and pumps up my tyres

I haven't come across Windows 8 yet, I'm still on Vista, netbook is Windows 7 and of course we all did XP once. My friend has a new laptop and is struggling with Windows 8!!
