I keep telling myself how upset I am due to the stupid figure on the scales but I eat c r a p anyway
I have booked a holiday this week and with it being a taster night then there shouldn't be any image therapy so hopefully no one will really notice I haven't weighed but a lot might ask me how I did after holiday

Well good that takes the stress off for you. Yes I suppose its all centered around scale numbers because we have to get weighed every week and nobody likes to see a gain ~ a bit psychological really. Anyway you've done the right thing for you.
Hopefully you'll see the doctor too this week and get some help on that front. Xx

No drs appointments left today but that's alright as Thursday suits me better since I'm making my taster stuff today for class tomorrow

Scales are going down but very very slowly which I'm ok with as long as my hard work is showing I know it takes me longer to lose weight then other people due to my medical problems

Its when I'm trying hard and not seeing the figures which upsets me

No got to phone up from 8am Thursday but I'll set my alarm
Needed the sleep this morning

Making ftom light bites
Salmon pate - this is always asked first

From little book lunches
Both these I have never made before
Mini fishcakes
Falafel

From slimming eats
Never made
Sweet potato hummus

My consultant provides the big crudites plate and I make the two dips

It's called pate but I'd say it's more a dip like taramasalta I think it's called

I don't make it chunky as you need to be able to dip veggies in it

I just looked at that recipe, and sounds much nicer than the one I made from a previous SW cook book, which was tinned red salmon, fat free fromage frais and dried tarragon.

Oh I couldn't use tinned salmon that has all the bones in it and there's no way I could eat it

I leave out the smoked salmon or it gets pricey

Usually I blitz 2 ready cooked sweet chilli salmon fillets with yoghurt salt pepper and long juice but those fillets have syns so this one I used frozen Alaskan salmon fillets which I cooked in the oven in tin foil waited to cool and added the yoghurt lemon juice salt pepper and blitzed

I don't measure stuff though

this is one of the few times I use my magimix

It cost a lot quite a few years ago over £400 as I went for the biggest one I could find and it's amazing but I don't use it as often as I should

Oh god!

I wouldn't be able to sort out a tin with skin and bones!

It was skinless and boneless, and I only made the pate to use up the tins from the cupboard, as never fancy it.

I don't have a magimix, just an ordinary food processor, but I do have an expensive Kenwood Chef mixer that gathers dust...lol

I've done everything in the magimix today
The salmon dip
Sweet potato hummus
Falafel
Fishcakes - which don't look nice at all unfortunatel

I'll post pictures as stuff is still in the oven

I thought all tinned salmon had those soft edible bones as it was a different part of the body to fillets ?
