LJ's Journey to be Slim by Sixty

Here some music for you . Hope it is not too bad.

I have just checked my April challenge. I put down 4lb for the month. At the moment I have to lose 6lb to even out. Not gonna happen.

Made me smile Doreen - never mind that naughty Easter Bunny's put a spell on a few of us I reckon - but he's on his way now so we should be ok this week.

I've had a good day today if I forget about that 10 syns of choc early on (what a waste!) but Poppy has asked to stay tonight so won't get to SW class 2moro morning - no way will I go in the evening cos I'll weigh even more - so will go next week when school term starts!

Hello Everybody. Do you usually go to class? or are you returning? I have been to 3 dfferent groups but never really got into the group time. This was while I was working and I always ended up getting weighed and leaving. I hope you are going to let us know how you get on. I swam my 80 lengths today (40 equivalent) and it felt tons better than yesterday so I was quite happy. Doreen Your cross stitch sounds brilliant. Mo:)

Hi - Well done on ur swim - it didn't take u any time at all to get back to the 80 lengths - well done - u must be fit!!

I used to go to SW class then started to WI at home - but feel I need to go back as I've struggled a few times recently - can't bear to put loads on (which is how I earned my sign in name!) so will go back next week and try to lose the rest of the flab over the next few months!

Did you manage not to have the snack Mo? Usually I don`t manage it.

Don`t reckon there is any chance of getting that six pound off either.

Hopefully the gardening will cover the extra syns. Glad all the choc is out of the way. I would like a little halo as I just found a piece whilst cleaning the fridge. Dropped it straight into the washing up water so it was inedible.

Snoopy sounds lovely, Sorry to hear she not good with her eye - naughty mummy - What colour is she? I used to have cats, I love them, but not practical now that I go further afield to look after the grandkids a lot.

Hope the vet helps.

Snoopy is so cute, I'd put her on a lead and take her out with me if I could hehe she is white with tabby splotches.

We (me and my sister) have 4 cats. We took in terri when she was living in the back garden all skinny and had fur missing! Then she popped out 3 fuzzy little babies.. Which we couldn't bare to part with! They are 2 years old today :) it's a mad house, but I wouldn't be without them now.

Hello all!

I am sorry I disappeared, busy busy week and I was sooo off the wagon I couldn't even see it anymore lol however I am back! With a new determination. I do not want to feel all bloated, full of junk and sugar and eurgh. So day one.

Breakfast - Keifer smoothie - Keifer (hexa), banana, half an apple, half a pear, spinach, berries.

Snack- banana. Cereal bar (part hexb)

Lunch - tomato mug shot, peppers, sweetcorn, salad leaves, beet root, bit of mayo (1syn)

Snack - banana and cereal bar (other hexb)

tea-veg chilli (peppers, kidney beans, tomatoes, chopped mixed veg) and rice

So - syn so far yay! I plan to have a slice of Swiss roll (6syns) and 100g of be good to yourself vanilla iced dessert (6syns)

i have struggled today and felt that I've Been eating all day, but managed to stay on the wagon. I had drank a lot of water to. I know the first few days will be tough but once these nasty junk cravings go I'll be fine!

LJ says hello! She has been here for the weekend. We have done so much on the allotment! We were so achy Sunday. But it was a lovely achy. We put fencing up, dug 3 beds and weeded (luckily had the help of LJs brother and soon to be sister in law!), we planted 3 beds of potatoes!! Then covered the rest with black plastic.. Phew! But was good fun :) it's going to be amazing exercise for us!

I am now inspired to sort my own garden out. I mowed the lawn yesterday. I am going to do a bit every weekend, or evenings if it's nice. Slowly but surely I will whip it into shape! Also I am going to grow a few little bits in grow bags, to getinto practice for the allotment!

Snoopy is feeling much better now, she had to have 2 injections, but they made her all better. So she's happy again now.

I managed 1 mile on the treadmill tonight fast walk and a little bit of running. I am feeling motivated!

I will ill try and catch up on all your posts!

Maybe the 6lb won't disappear this week but u'll be saying goodbye to it v soon! I find what goes on fast disappears pretty quickly - is it the same with u??

Wonder if u could think of it as the result of ur lovely family time at Easter?x

Hi - lovely to hear from you and say hello to LJ - sounds as if u've made a cracking start on ur allotment - wow lots of baked potatoes, SW chips, potato salads coming up - yum yum!

With a patch that size the body magic may be enough to get u both to target without even being on plan eh? (not to mention ur own garden and the treadmill!) My veg plot is the size of a match box in comparison LOL!!

As we've said b4 - it's so easy to fall off the wagon YET SOOO hard to get back on! Well u've made a great start today - well done!!

Glad 2 hear Snoopy's on the mend too. Hope it's easier to stay on plan 2moro (as if it's ever easy!!)

Hi - very late posting - not eaten much today - you might guess that wasn't down to willpower - Poppy saw the consultant again today - her hearing has deteriorated since her previous test 3 weeks ago - did I post that her ability to hear the normal volume of speech can be as low as 0% in one ear and 20% in the other? She lip reads really well. The doctor also said it looks as if she has nerve damage in one ear but he's hoping this is not the case.

Today it was less than 20% in her 'good' ear - that was after 3 weeks of medication & breathing exercises (to try to clear her eustachian tube). So she's going to have an operation in 3-4 weeks - to put grommets in for the 2nd time, remove her tonsils & adenoids to see if that will cure/help - I know it's a common op & not anything like as serious as some children's problems but it has upset us - she's taken it in her stride - aren't kids great!

At least the low food intake might help my WI 2moro - after those Easter treats!!

Morning ladies - I can't quite believe that I've lost 2lbs - isn't losing weight odd? After my choccy treats didn't expect yesterday's low eating day to make a difference - hope CJ's WI goes better than expected and that Mo and Doreen have good days.
