Sorry to hear about you poorly tummy today, hope it is feeling a little better by now.

Update on food today.
Up at 6.30. Brekkie 3 egg mushroom omelette and 2 toast
Lunch: 3 sausages cut and put in a tin of baked beans. 2 bananas
What was going to be a snack was wholemeal roll (6) with ham tom & gherkins & mayo (1/2)
Cooked bolognese but did not want to eat it - snack filling.
I instead had some frozen fruits and 2 mullerlights and a big cup of coffee about 8.30.

Syns 8 in total.

A great day Doreen - isn't it a good feeling when u feel to full to eat - plus we know we've really been on plan too!!
 
It is a worry I know. I had my tonsils out 64 yrs ago in London. Also I had an absesce in my ear.
You had to stay in hospital for a week in those days. My Mum told me for years afterwards how good I was. Only Wed & Sunday visiting too.
Children are so resiliant aren`t they, the parents are the ones that worry more than the child. It is so good Poppy is taking it in her stride. She has been through a lot hasn`t she. Good girl Poppy. Try not to worry too much if you can Upndown. Thinking of you

Thanks for ur kind message Doreen - yes it must have been tough for u and ur parents being in hospital with only 2 visiting days. I had my tonsils out young but my family came in each day and I remember I had new fleecy pyjamas with lambs on!!

I'm feeling better about it today - I know it's a fairly minor op but it's so sad to see ur grandchild struggling to hear - but she's a happy little thing - her teacher wrote a letter to the consultant explaining how her hearing is affecting her education and the social side of school but she said Poppy coped v well.

How has everyone's day been? The sun has been shining here and has been warm, but a little rainy later on.

Day 2 back on plan, I feel so much better already, lighter. I have been hungry again all day, so I'm hoping tomorrow will get easier. No exercise today, well apart from walking about generally lol I had a hay fever tablet this morning and it made me so drowsy! I won't be taking the again lol

So good today..

Breakfast - Keifer smoothie - Keifer (hexa), banana, half an apple, berries, spinach.

Snack - banana and cereal bar

Lunch - Mediterranean mug shot, peppers, sweetcorn, spinach

Snack - cereal bar and options hot choc (2syns)

Tea - chicken, salad leaves, beet root, pickled cabbage, mayo (1syn), ready mash (4.5syns)

i will have have some ice cream for pudding walls light vanilla ice cream (100g) 7 syns... Worth every syn and you get a good amount!

I have managed about 1.5L of hater today to.

Well done - ur back in the swing of things - I think 2moro shd be better - why do we torture our bodies with this feast and famine stuff??!!

You know what - from my experience with Flynn being in hospital when he was three, not only do you worry about your grandchild but about their parents too. It seems we have double bubble. But what a pleasure when you go to visit and the grandchild gives you a big smile and a hug. Grandchildren are so Precious. xxxx
 
Here's how my grub went today - I've signed up to Kay's salad challenge but have fallen short today - must to better - must do better ........

B: banana
Snack: alpen light bar (HEB) I've seen on Minis that the new recipe ones aren't a HEB - BOO!!
L: cheddar cheese (HEA) salad - fat free from frais & mustard as dressing
T: lamb, purple and green broccoli and carrots and mint sauce (free?)
Dessert: 2 meringues - 5 syns, toffee muller yog and banana

Total syns = 5
Water = 2L - getting easier to drink it now - but need to be near a loo!!
 
Hello. ive just succumbed to a snack. 4 kalo rice cakes with laughing cow cheese triangle. The only good thing each rice cake only 30 calories and 0.2 g of fat.

Morning ladies - I can't quite believe that I've lost 2lbs - isn't losing weight odd? After my choccy treats didn't expect yesterday's low eating day to make a difference - hope CJ's WI goes better than expected and that Mo and Doreen have good days.

Well done Linda :D, I'm so so happy for you on your loss, that's brill hun! I hope your week has been ok :).

Yea, but then what did I do I got up in the night and had 2 ham rolls. Because of that I decided to get weighed today and not try to cut right down today and get weighed tomorrow. I put on 1.1/2lbs. I am disgusted with myself. Not just because I put on weight, had a great weekend, but because I ate those rolls in the night. It probably would not have been so bad if I had had a good day today and got weighed tomorrow.

Congrats in yoiur 2lb loss , not sure if I mentioned earlier.

I am being self indulgent at the moment. Gonna walk to the cafe and have a cuppa and read my kindle. Food later

Hello All. well Ive had a long walk today and then swam my 40 equivalent lengths so feel quite pleased with the exercise. Doreen I related completely to the ham rolls at night. Thats the kind of thing I do. I hope everyone is enjoying their day. Mo

Dont beat yourself up. I think these things are to remind us of our goal. I know being off plan, eating so much I felt stuffed full all the time. Now I know I don't want to feel like that. So I think in the long run it helps us get to our goal. So don be to hard on yourself.

Another day done, it is getting easier. Still quite hungry again today, I have been making sure I stock up on good things so I don't go off the rails.

6.5 total so far. I will treat myself to chopped banana and ice cream (7syns)

13.5 total that will be.

i have drank about 1L today. I managed 1 mile fast walking on the treadmill to.

I have to say I am feeling so much better back on the wagon. Lighter, not all bloated and overloaded with sugar.

I don't know if I'm right... But I've been having different cereal bars, but only if they are the same or less cals, fat etc as Alpen light ones.
 
Hello. I have had a too much bread day. breakfast- 2 toast. lunch- crab sandwich. dinner- beans on toast. Raspberries with mullerlight.

I don't think the bread's a problem Mo - it seems to be ur thing (better than my thing - choc!!) u can syn ur bread and ur still within ur allowance - I eats loads more than u - I don't know how u manage on so little!!

I think that'll be ok - it's all about fat and cals isn't it? Have u tried Googling the syn values? I do it sometimes and usually the first result is Minis!!

U've done well again today and glad ur feeling better - isn't it funny - whilst we're eating the naughty stuff it's great - but the after effects aren't fun - SW's a great weigh to lose weight isn't it? Bet that gain will be history by next Weds!!
