Lou's diary - (Celebrity Slim)

Ha ha I was in the playground the other day and a lady was stood there in her pj's she had her coat on over the top. She was dropping her daughter off. She only lived across the road from school and she said it was her frist day off in months and she had every intention of jumping back in her warm bed when she got home, lol.

I spend an enormous amount of time in my pjs at home - am always in them. I have more pjs than I have proper clothes! OH looks at me and you can tell he's thinking 'for crying out loud get dressed can't you?' but I love pjs. Just change your mindset a little and refer to them as 'leisure wear' and you'll convince yourself you'll never need to get dressed again!

Hi
Just been catching up on some threads and came across this one.
Lou - your veg chilli sounds delicious - have put it on my menu list, glad to see you are doing so well - I need a kick up the bum at the moment. Feeling very lazy and this is not helping my SW journey.
Sonban - on the PJ's front we had a parent coming into the reception at school in her PJ's.:eek:

Hi Irene, lovely to hear from you again. Sorry to hear you're struggling. Get in the kitchen girl and russle up some nice veggi soup etc.

Well, I kinda learnt my lesson last night with the PJ's..... I'd just left the airport and was on the M56 going home, when the oil light starts flashing............. ARRGGHH.

I pulled into the services and luckily had some oil in the boot, so there I was at 04:30 in the morning, in my PJ's with the bonnet of my car up in a deserted services, freezing my ar*e off trying to pour oil into the engine!

I got home at 6am and crawled straight back into bed, only for Marc to call at 06.45 saying "I'm gettin on the plane now"...... well good for you sunshine, I NEED TO SLEEP!

Had some sleep and in a better mood now.
S: 1 aplen light (1/2B)

Irene

Aww thanks Susie, I love knowing people read it etc, as it makes me want to write more!! Hehe.

On that note - I have a new recipe...

Tuna Fishcakes - Free (if using tuna as a B) on a green day

* 1 big bag smash (or real pots)
* 113g tuna in brine (1 HExB)
* Handful of sweetcorn
* 4 finely chopped spring onions
* 1 egg

Make the smash and add the sweetcorn and spring onion.
Give it a good stir round then add the tuna. Add an egg to help bind the mixture.
Fry very slowly (in frylight) so they go all nice and crispy.
I'm going to have these with a green salad and coleslaw (2.5 syns).

You can also add a little chilli powder to give it a kick too.

Also - I like them as above, but you can coat them in breadcrumbs (1B) if you prefer.

Aw bless, dont feel bad, I was just feeling that way out a bit earlier! x

I'm going to go look at your FB pics in a minute, hehe.

In the last two hours I have made a huge pan of veg soup, made fishcakes and put them in the freezer...... made my tea (roast veg) which is still in the oven and made fruit salad ready for breakfast tomorrow.

I use to hate cooking new things and would just have pasta n' sauce and potato wedges - CONSTANTLY, I'm now going to try a new recipe every week! x

I get totally paranoid about WI. I weigh myself every Sunday and I didn't want to get up yesterday because it meant I had to weigh. Crazy eh? The one thing I have got to stop is weighing myself all the time, sometimes 3 - 4+ a day. I love the sound of fishcakes just need to get some tuna. I'm doing all green days so its great that the tuna is a Hex. Good luck for your WI and ake sure you let us know how you did.
