Thanks everyone..... My WI is at 6.30pm, but I'm staying to class so will let you all know about 8pm ish.

Really really scared though, I shouldn't be as I have been good, but I'm so use to getting on the scales and failing. x

Just been catching up on the last few days, I love reading your diary! Just want to wish you good luck for your WI. I get nervous too, even if I know I've been good. Mine is tomorrow, so fingers crossed - had 2 bad days but think I've made up for it by eating my body weight in fruit!

Hi Wonder, I'm pretty sure I've lost weight but I'm still doing the "silly stuff" like I've stopped drinking and eating now, and I'm wearing the same clothes as last week etc... I'll still take my earrings and ring off when I get on the scales though!!

However.... not good. I only lost 1lb. I'm so so gutted and I know why.... COUS COUS CAKE!!

I thought this was too good to be true and I was right, my consultant says you HAVE to syn it at the red day value, which is 5 syns per 28g :eek::eek:

I've eaten 3 or 4 of these cakes in the last week and have used a whole bag 500g cous cous.

This equals roughly 100 syns!!!

I know people will debate this, but I have been 200% on plan this last week and it's the only reason I can think of.

Anyway, I'm not going to get down about it, I'm going to try my bl**ming hardest and lose more next week.

Yeah I know, at least I know what I've been doing wrong though, and it's still a lb in the right direction.

Just so bloody annoying as I'd much rather a few cream eclairs than a couple of cous cous cakes!!!
 
Hi FNM, yeah as it is being used in place of flour. e.g. to make a cake. Granted it isn't flour or "ground up" but it's still 5 syns per 28g on either day if you put it in a cake x
 
........... a normal person probably wouldn't eat 4 in a week though, so as long as you're just having 1 a week, I'm sure it won't matter too much x
 
Hi hun well done on your loss its going in the right directon. I know that doesnt make you feel any better though when you have tried so so hard this week.

You can do this you know you can, see the cous cous cake as a lesson learnt and put it behind you. Another week like you just did minus the cous cous cake and you will have a fab loss. Keep strong your ding fab xxx
 
Well done on the 1lb - all in the right direction! And well done for not getting down about it - it's horrid when you feel you've been so good and don't get the lose you feel is justified! At least you can see where you went wrong. I was going to try the cake this week but like you say, I'm not sure it's worth the syns. I'd much rather have chocolate! Keep up the hard work.
 
Iv made the cake just now - who knows! TBH I dont get the syns but it aint summat I would make daily anyhoo?

First of all you could never dissapoint us!!!!:) A pound less that last week is still great. Just remember the extra weight didn't all go on in one go.

I found when I started SW 100% I was very bunged up to put it politely and only lost a pound the second week. I don't know if that has happened to you.

Still as I said you LOST this week so thats always great news.:D

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling much happier about it now but it's still annoying.

B: Baked beans on toast (1B)
S: Melon and satsuma
L: Pasta N' Sauce
S: Hifi bar (1B)
S: Satsuma and yogurt
D: Vegetable chilli and rice (pub) and couple of chips (15 syns)
