Hey Louise,

You haven't dissapointed us - so please don't say that. I for one, find your diary inspirational as I'm sure the other girlies do to... your popularity is testamont to that!

Congrats on you loss :party0011:

I do understand how you feel because I've made the same mistake myself a few times, but a loss is a loss. I know that sounds 'cheesy' but it's true

Hang in there and remember how good it feels when you have those big losses and focus on that for next week :) xx

And... to everyone who reads Lou's diary, did anyone see GMTV this morning? They had a lady on who'd lost 10st 9lbs and she did it with SW. She really promoted the plan and she looked AMAZING compared to before.

It kind of spurred me on to keep it up. it's the little things I guess...

Best wishes to you all for a successful week, whatever stage you're at. x

Oooh how odd! Im keeping mine as free as I didnt use milk, cinnimon or for frais!

I think it just depends, I'm sure it's fine unless you have 4 in a week (like piggy me), hehe.

Thanks for all your encouragement (sp?) ladies, I really love this site and don't think I could attempt SW without you lot.

xx

Well done on the pound, a loss is a loss and all that! I think the biggest achievement for you though is being so motivated and focussed! x

P.S good luck for tomorrow - let me know how you get on. x

Hi Louise,

Thought you might like to know that my WI last night was disheartening too :sigh:

I stayed the same! Booo! I've been SO spot on as well and didn't even max out my syns. The only thing I did differently was drink LOADS of water and my consultant reckons that's the reason behind it.. says it can take a while for the body to adjust. Oh hum!

Guess we're kind of in the same boat this week, but I'm absolutely determined to see my ticker move next week and hope it will look like that little 'hoola' girl on it has just done the long jump! ;)

Hehe, Hi wonder. I'm sure she'll be doing a big leap next week.

Don't be disheartened hun, it's a right pain though isn't it.

You'll see the benefits of all the water next week I'm sure. I'm away for the weekend so I'm going to be tested!!

I went out for dinner last night with the girls. Had vegetable chilli and rice, and then fell at the last hurdle and ended up having pudding too. So in total I had around 28 syns yesterday. Eeek. Therefore I'm going to make up for it by having 0 syns today.

B: Poached eggs on toast (1B)
S: Yogurt
L: Pasta N' Sauce and big glass of water
S: Yogurt and alpen light bar (1/2B)
D: Tuna (1/2B) fishcakes, baked beans and salad.

I really need to go shopping as I've run out of fruit etc......but going away from tomorrow night...

Also........ any help would be much appreciated for my weeked. We're driving down to bluewater on Friday morning (4 hour journey)... what can I take with me to eat?

We're going to eat at Bluewater so hopefully fill myself up with a steak, then drive down to Ashford in Kent.

Staying at Ashford and getting a ferry to calais at 8.30am on Saturday.... returning back to Dover at 6pm and then driving all the way back home (6 hours). Help, help, help xxx

Thanks Hun, talking about it to others is always a big help.

With regards to your travelling, a few ideas for good on the go...

- Vegetable frittata.. I made a nice one with broccoli, peas and tomato. Once cooked, I then top it with 1/2 fat cheddar (1A) and grill. It's lovely cold because the cheese still tastes yummy. I usually pop into a lunch box with some baby tomatoes.

- Crudites with Laughing Cow light... chop up carrots, cucumber etc. and mix up 5 laughing cow light (1A) to make a dip.

- Fill up a lunch box with melon and strawberries - very yummy and very filling!

If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

If you're going to France a red day might be good, as most dishes over there are meat based.

Also a good sandwich (red day) is 3 slices of bread from a 400g loaf spread with Laughing Cow Light instead of butter, loads of wafer thin ham or turkey and lots of lettuce tomatoe etc, to make a club sandwich/tower sandwich! Only 3 syns for the extras slice of bread, 1A for cheese. Pretty satisfying and good for on the go packed lunch!

Hope that's helped some...

xx

well a maintain is better than a gain :)

I know what you mean about the water, very good for you but can actually make you weigh more, I've started to take water retention relief tablets (which are completely natural as they contain just herbs like Dandelion root powder) as a remedy.

Thank you! And thanks for the tip about the tablets, I think I'll give them a go! x

Thanks for the ideas!

Arrgghhh, I'm hungry, hungry, hungry now though. I really want to go and have some super noodles but I only had lunch an hour and half ago and don't want my collegues to think I'm piggy!!

Just had an alpen light bar and it's not taken the edge off, I've got water now...... but arrgghh. x

Haha.... I did eat them in the end, I feel so much better for them.

I was the same yesterday, Pasta N' Sauce don't seem to do it for me anymore! x

Bluewater is my neck of the woods, you can pick up a jacket potato with baked beans and cottage cheese for quite good money in the food court, i swear by them lol.. xx

Thanks hun, think I'm going to do a red day as it's easier for snacking in the car I think....... Ohhhh I dunno my arse from my elbow anymore!
