Can I ask..do you keep your fat/protein/carbs at any particular ratio when eating clean? I got protein powder as both my protein and fat (...surprising for a tubby person!!) are apparently low. Adding in healthy fats too. My carbs on the other hand and particularly sugars were too high. I don't know whether to just eat good healthy, fresh food or keep an eye on it? Apparently the protein should help me retain muscle..and build it if I exercise...while burning fat and losing weight...or so "they" say. I think I've watched too many videos and read too much!!!
I did at one point try to push my protein higher but found I was " low carbing " which isn't good with cardio so I honestly don't look at the breakdown anymore. I eat a lot of fruit so that pushes my carbs up. One thing I know is the 2 weeks before Leeds with less processed food and absolutely no choc or crisps I felt amazing! Really tight n toned. I loved how I felt. Pushing to get there again! Xxx
Think I'm just going to try and eat as healthily as I can for the majority of the time. Have a few supplements and will give them a go but to be honest I think the best thing I can do is just clean up the food I'm eating. xxx
I got mine from Argos I think? They're the digital scales, so I don't have to weigh separately, keep pushing tare after I've weighed out one thing so it's accurate. Even weigh the teaspoon before I weigh my teaspoon of jam or peanut butter lol xxx
Had some puffed wheat, banana and koko milk for breakfast, a fajita pasta salad from greggs with a melon medley fruit salad at the park then have had 30g sweet n salt morrisons popcorn and a mr freeze ice pop. Too hot to cook, have scrubbed the house and changed all the beds, 4 loads of washing , tae bo and thighs... Just about to do hula after I've done their tea. Salad and wholemeal pitta for me ( love this weather for salads lol ) xxx
